Ways to report animal abuse in Egypt
Complaint Requirements: Take pictures of the abuse as evidence for the police report. Find out the correct name and address of the abuser if ordinary person or if owner of a pet shop. Try to make a police complaint at the precinct of the district where the abuse took place.
Complaint should mention article 357 of the penal law and Ministerial Decree 27/1967 for the protection of animals. Use witnesses if available. Take the number, put date of the complaint and send it to Dr. Ibrahim Mahrous on fax no. 37493442 or 37493404 or e-mail : [email protected]
