Today for we are featuring Cleo! This silly and sweet girl was admitted to us for vomiting x10, decreased appetite and lethargy. Once we took radiographs, we could see that there was foreign material in the abdomen. Our team proceeded to go into an exploratory surgery and Dr. Suttie was able to remove a fairly large piece of foam through the stomach. Cleo recovered well post op and received lots of attention! We are happy to report that she is back home and doing well 🐾🩵

Everyone meet Alicia! For we Alicia in the spotlight. Alicia has been with Trinity since day 1 of opening and is currently working towards becoming a Veterinary Technician! When she isn’t working you can find her adventuring around outside either hiking or playing sports. 🐾🩵 ✨Alicia’s superpower✨ always being able to remain calm during emergency situations and our busiest days.

Everyone meet Sitara! On January 12th we had this sweet girl admitted to us for a GDV (Gastric Dilatation and Volvulus). She presented to us with a distended abdomen and retching white foam. Our team was quick to get Sitara admitted and prepped for surgery! Dr. Suttie was able to successfully untwist her stomach and she had a successful recovery and was back with her team after two days of hospitalization. 🐾🩵 Thank you to for entrusting us with her care 💕Check out her full surgery story above!

Cassidy went to school for Veterinary Technician Assistant in 2014 and for the last 4 years has worked in the industry, the last two years being at Trinity. When Cassidy isn’t working, you can find her playing video games or keeping busy with her fiancé, 2 kids, her dog Midna and 4 cats.🐾🩵✨Cassidy’s superpower✨ her ability to quickly finish tasks and always willing to help out her team.

This week for we had this handsome boy named Oscar! Oscar was admitted to us for acute GI signs and lethargy. At home, he vomited up what seemed to be pieces of a cork. Dr. Suttie performed an exploratory laparotomy - gastrotomy and jejunal enterotomy and she ended up removing fabric strands and plastic chewed up material. Oscar’s surgery went well and we are happy to report that is back home with his family as happy as ever 🐾🩵

Everyone meet Oso! This beautiful boy was admitted to us for getting his bone stuck to his jaw. 🦴 Upon examination, the doctor noticed that the bone was lodged over the mandibular canines and we could not remove it with gentle traction. Oso was then sedated and our doctor was able to successfully remove the bone resulting in mild abrasions and no dental fractures! 😁 We are happy to report that Oso recovered well from sedation and was back home in no time! 🐾🩵
