Nicole is our amazing Client Care Coordinator, who has been with us since the very beginning when we first opened Fen Vet in Airdrie! From the moment you walk through our doors, Nicole’s warm smile and infectious laugh instantly make you feel at home. Her kindness, compassion, and empathy are felt by every client and furry friend that visits Fen Vet. What makes Nicole truly special is her heart of gold—whether she’s calming a nervous pet parent or being a steady presence during the most difficult goodbyes. Nicole brings such a pure and genuine care to everything she does. Nicole’s dedication and love for our clients and staff have helped shape Fen Vet into the caring community it is today, and we are so incredibly lucky to have her by our side. Clients can always find Nicole bouncing between both Beltline and Airdrie locations because she is so dedicated in ensuring both clinics and their staff are doing well. Whenever any of our staff are having an off day, she has always been the first to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on. We love you, Nicole, and we couldn’t imagine this place without you! 💕🙌

We recently got new treats from Grandma Lucy’s to add to our Barkcuterie station line up & of course, us Fennies had to try these Oven Baked High Quality Organic treats for ourselves! Granted, we don’t try every treat that we put out, but these peaked some interest as they look exactly like Teddy Grahams (& according to some Fennies, taste exactly like them too!) You can find these in multiple different flavours up front for your pup (& maybe yourself 😉) to try 🌿🤍

My name is Angela, I’m a Veterinarian from Brazil and a Technical Assistant here at Fen Vet Beltline. I’ve got some great news for you: we have a Brazilian Veterinarian on board! Alysson: HELLOOOO! Hi everyone, I’m Alysson, and I’ve been a Veterinarian at Fen Vet for two years now. Because of the large Brazilian community at Fen Vet Beltline, I’ve been assigned to this location. I’ll be here once a week, all day long. So if you ever need anything, feel free to reach out to me! And if I’m not around, Angela’s got you covered. Angela: Byeeee!

Something that Fen Vet values the most is clinic culture, & we wouldn’t have that without our Fennies. Love is such a prominent feeling in our clinic, whether it be between person & animal, or person & person. ‘I love you’ is used everyday, multiple times a day. We express love whenever we can, or whenever we feel one of our people needs it. We wanted to highlight one of our Fennies today, in a new addition of “Meet the Fennies”, we give you, Dr. Lauren Hammond. Lauren is a beaming light of love & life in our clinic. As our a few of our Fennies expressed, she is the ultimate storyteller, a smart, compassionate veterinarian, & is one of the best singers we’ve ever heard, especially when it’s paired with her unbelievable guitar skills. She goes through her life as a bright shining light, beaming it on everyone & anyone. You can tell when she’s in the clinic because everywhere she goes is bursting with laughter, especially after she retells one of the many stories from her life with characters, actions, voices & all. She shows everyone her love of life, outdoors, animals… but there is one thing that takes the cake; her beloved Golden Retriever, Halle, who stays on Lauren’s mind 25/8. There is no one she thinks about more. Her passion for the vet med industry shows in the way she cares for her patients & it never, ever falters. As she says, “I just want to save every single dog.” We couldn’t be more obsessed & grateful to have a Lauren Hammond, & we strongly recommend getting yourself one 🤍
