If you are looking for someone to look after your house or your pets, Doug would be your best choice. Doug helped us out on number of occasions staying in our house and taking care of our pets when we were on vacation, anywhere from three days to three weeks. We would get regular updates on our furbabies, and we were always
able to reach Doug when we needed to talk to him. He left a house in a spotless condition, and charged a very reasonable price for his services. What impressed us the most is Doug’s willingness to help in our moments of need. I got Covid just before returning home from a vacation, which delayed our flight by one week. Doug extended his stay at our place by one week and made us feel like it was no big deal re-arranging his life at a moment notice (which of course is a bid deal). On another occasion, we had firefighters showing up by our door because of the faulty security sensor, and even though Dough was not house sitting for us that time, when we called him he immediately offered to drive over and do a walk through the house to make sure everything was okay. Doug is an awesome guy and we feel lucky that we found him to help us when we are away. Rita P

Doug house sat for us for two weeks. Our dog gets very sad when we leave. Normally, our neighbours report him crying if we go away on vacation, but not this time. Doug gave him lots of love and attention, frequent walks and went above and beyond to fix the gate the dog ruined. I highly recommend Doug as a house sitter. Sincerely,

Doug has cared for my pets a number of times, I find him extremely professional. He as a great rapport with my two English Bulldogs, they are comfortable in his presence and they are happy to see him at the door when he comes to sit with them. He is very reliable, always checks to make sure if he is needed or not, which I really appreciate. He is very patient with me when I forget to e-Transfer his money, which has pretty much been every time. He just sends me gentle and humorous reminders. Regarding Doug's Pet Sitting...
Earlier this year when going on a family vacation, we found ourselves in need if dog/house sitter. We interviewed a few people that didn't fit and then were referred to Doug's Pet Sitting. Our dog Fergus is an Aussiedoodle and having been a Covid puppy, never really spent time without us. While he is a good dog, he whines and cries when we leave him for only an hour or so, and will occasionally refuse to eat. We needed someone we could trust to give him the attention he needed. Doug was fantastic about having several meet and greets before our vacation and made an effort to get to know Fergus. As our departure time was very early in the morning, Doug even agreed to spend the night before so that Fergus wouldn't be alone when we left. In all Doug took care of our 19 month old Fergus for 10 days. In addition to keeping us updated on how Fergus was handling life without us, he also made the extra effort to fix random little annoyance around the house (with permissionof course). Doug left our house in clean and good repair, managed our weekly garbage and recycling pick ups and our mail. Doug's rates are also more than reasonable compared to other similar services. In the future if we need a pet sitter again, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Doug's Pet Sitting services again. Sincerely,
