Every day I get to take one of my dogs to work. Where they shake paws, walk with, sit, stay, and love the 800+ kids in our building. I love that ‘when they grow up’ they want one of my dogs because they are so well behaved 🙃. I smile knowing it has been a true labour of love to get them to where they are.

But it’s work, commitment and effort. Every step worth it. It starts here… well said Legacyk Gun Dogs

Another great time at the Stavely Derby. The land was stunning, the hunting tough, and the company the best!

Great hunting, great friends, great dogs, great weather, great food some raffle winning…. What else can you ask for?

Huck and I had some fun this weekend. We passed our third leg to earn the Excellent Rally title. This should also qualify us for the GSPCC Versatility Advanced award!!!

this is why I love this breed. Sprout did over 100 km of hunting Monday to Wednesday. Then showed up to two cues at the hyper hounds agility trial Friday to Saturday. Just love this girl.

Taber day 3. Last day. The land was tough but the company great. Lots of thick cattails. Jen & Matt spent a lot of time working the reeds. Tamara came with Vimy and we scoured the field with Sprout & Vimy. Some lovely points, tracking, and birdiness. They put up a few. But no pissible shots.

The final push was left for Huck. I just love hunting with my guy. He tracked and located one of the illusive phesants Vimy & Sprout were after. George shot it for our first.

Jen & Matt’s Kali put up 2 out of the reeds. They pursued the one that went back to reed land and we pursued the field. Huck had a great point and George got number 2!

Thankyou friends and the organizers of Taber Phesant Festival. It’s been 3 incredible days of hunting.

Too bad there wasn’t lovely shooting 🤣 I’ve got some work to do. But we bagged 1 🙂

Happy Birthday to the first Clarity Litter. This litter produced the beautiful Jade and her littermates Huck, Zena, Waylon,Trapper, Nellie, Jax, & Tex. CJ and Beans, you did great. Thank you Val and YVonne for saying yes.
