And then we did this! ☺️ High in class second Rally Excellent leg (second try at this level) 97!

When a respected Judge tells you it was a pleasure to watch and it’s a tough breed to do it with. You smile. When you know what you’ve had to work through you cry. (Tears of joy)

Our biggest accomplishment has been recovering this boy’s, innate biddable easy going temperament.

In that tough 3-4 boyhood we had a few difficult encounters with Dogs. I handled the situations wrong and Huck stopped believing he was safe.

This weekend he sat ringside completely calm and relaxed (including when Sprout’s 9 month pups wanted to play with Uncle Huck). When all the batking ensued, he stayed relaxed. When we played in both venues he stayed with me no matter what happened. He was better than fine he
Performed !!!!

With a lot of support and great training I believe my boy is back.

We dusted it off and brushed away the cobwebs… took a spin around the Red Deer ring with Huck.

Do happy with how we hid. BOB in a nice line up of 12 GSPs. A group 4 in the very competitive sporting group, AND leg one of our excellent rally.

A fun weekend at our first ‘stand alone’ rally trial. Hosted by the Rocky Mountain working Herding Club of Alberta. Under judge Tami Marks.

Both, Huck and Sprout successfully completed the final leg of their Rally advanced title in style. Huck earned a 97 on Saturday and Sprout a 98 on Sunday; which earned her High in ❤️Class.

Huck is my training partner and hunting buddy. If I ask him he will. He is biddable and steady in the field, our favorite place to play together. He has very strong Hunt drive and a fabulous nose for upland game. Huck has earned titles in the field, in scent work, in the rally ring, doing water retrieves, and in the conformation ring. I absolutely love this dog. When not doing dog sports with me he accompanies me to school as one of my therapy dogs at my school in Calgary.
