Our Halloween Gymkhana will be held on Sunday October 27th. We will have prizes for best costumes and candy bags! Also we can get the camera out to capture the moments!

If your horse chews wood please do not tie to the front wall….. use the side one. We have spent a lot of time making that look good I would appreciate every one respecting that .

I am disappointed in the treatment of our lesson tack lately. You can easily spend up to $1000 if not thousands to get started with the right equipment for riding.

We have tack provided to avoid that additional cost and help make riding more affordable for the average family. If you do not treat our equipment respectfully it will not last and this is something we teach in our beginner clinic.

A few reminders
Western saddles: stirrups down, cinches up. Any bent leather will get permanently bent.

English saddles: stirrups up girths off. If you wrap a stirrup leather unwrap it when you are done.

Bridles: brow bands out bits down.

The first few picture show you what is acceptable, the rest are examples of what is not.

Yesterday was a sad day for us, Roman has left us. He has been a big part of our lives and an amazing dog, he will be missed . Please share your memories and pics of him .

LAFARGE Cavalry Charge 1.50m Spruce Meadows

Derby Day at Spruce Meadows is always a fan favourite as riders tackle the 1.50m derby course. Since its' beginning, only 21 clear rounds have been posted in 689 attempts on this derby course and today's competitors looked to add to that. This was Shae Enders first time and as you would expect Shae brought her nerves of steel! We are so proud of her.

Outdoor arena is good to ride in again! just be sure to keep off the front section as we will be working on renovating and remember be safe and clean up after yourselves.
