Meet Rum Punch: The Cat Who Thinks He’s a Dog! 🐾
Rum Punch isn’t your average feline—he’s got the brains, the energy, and the determination of a pup! His foster is working on agility training, and Rum Punch is nailing it. He’s learning tricks, tackling obstacles, and proving that cats can be just as trainable (and fun) as their canine counterparts.
If you’ve ever thought, “Maybe I want a dog,” let Rum Punch change your mind. He’s a one-of-a-kind kitty with the spirit of a puppy, and he’s here to show that there’s truly a cat for everyone—even the dog lovers out there!
Stay tuned for updates on Rum Punch’s agility adventures, or better yet, apply to adopt him and see if he’s your perfect match. 💙
Shortbread's gentle demeanour and warm welcome make her a perfect addition to any home. She has mastered the art of making guests feel right at home by welcoming them with meows and tail quivers. Her exemplary behaviour extends beyond social graces; she's also a model citizen when it comes to using her scratch post and even finds joy in having her nails trimmed, purring contentedly throughout the process.
Shortbread may be a sweet and sociable companion, but she also has a playful side that’s ready to shine! She loves a good game of fetch, chasing her favourite toys with the grace and enthusiasm of a true feline athlete. Always ready for the next toss, she’ll dash across the room, bringing the toy right back and waiting eagerly for her foster family to throw it again. This lively little routine brings a touch of fun and joy into every day, and it’s clear Shortbread treasures each moment spent playing together.
Shortbread has a heart condition that means that she requires daily medication and frequent check ups at the vet. Our cat care team would be happy to discuss any concerns with you prior to adoption, and advise you on what Shortbread needs going forward. If you're interested in learning more, fill out an application today! Shortbread is a name your own adoption fee cat.

This handsome boy is Grey Poupon!
✨ 5 years old, male, mellow cat, single only
As you can see, Grey is our #1 biscuit maker, putting his extra toes to good use.
This fluffy boy first arrived at MEOW as a stray and is eager to leave those days in the past. Grey is a chatty fellow who enjoys a good scratch behind his ears. While he enjoys the company of humans, he does not share much love for his feline counterparts and would need to be the only cat in his future home.

Spring is here and that means one thing - kittens! At MEOW Foundation, we place young kittens (and often nursing mom cats) in foster homes to provide them with a safe home environment during this vital stage of development.
As a MEOW foster, you will provide a safe space to cats and kittens in need, and MEOW will provide all of the necessary supplies and support to care for your foster(s). While it is kitten season, we also have an ongoing need for foster homes to take in single cats, senior cats, or cats with other special needs.
