I picked the wrong day to bring Lucky on a pack walk. The park was nothing but ice and crunchy jagged snow. Lucky already has brittle nails due to a vaccine injury years ago and he has done very well with our health support we give him however, today was too much. Poor little dude had to be sedated for his nail to be pulled after he tore it very high up. Nail injuries are common in these conditions and it’s why we always advise keeping your dogs nails short and trimmed.
