Trivia: Male giraffes will headbutt females in the bladder until they urinate. They then drink the urine, tasting it to determine whether the female is ovulating.

August 28 came wet as forecast and gnarly wind to boot.
Trivia: meerkats can eat scorpions with no adverse effects as they have an immunity to some toxins, including scorpion venom, allowing them to eat the whole scorpion— everything from the pincers to the stinger! Like most mongoose species, meerkats also eat snakes and are impervious to many snake toxins. If bitten, a meerkat can become ill but normally will not die due to their strong resistance to toxins.

August 27 and the cooler day has frisky puppers enjoying each other. Dogs are cool because you can be like "Hey do you wanna lay on the couch and watch tv for eight hours and not say any words and we can just be by each other" and every single time they're like "You bet your ass I do.”
