Day 2 back on the paths and parks and what a glorious day it was. So much fun was had….and of course always a few little ‘guilty’ feelings for when they look at me after their treats and they know I am leaving. Ack!!! My heart 💞💞

Hey everyone,

I have been ‘sitting’ on this post for a week now because sometimes these are simply TOO hard to write.

My heart and soul hurts with the loss of my sweet Reba. I have been walking her (and her husband Red) for at least 6 years.

Reba was a Welsh Springer Spaniel. I had never heard of them till I met their Breeders, Nola & Bruce, of Shorencliff Kennels. Reba and her hubby were their first breeding couple and when it was time for them to retire Bruce & Nola made sure to find them the perfect home…and they found that with Jean. These two pups have been spoiled thoroughly in their retirement!!!!

This breed is so perfect for Calgary. They love all the weather changes and are they very smart and loving….Reba especially so.

She was a kind soul with a heart of gold. I heard she was an amazing Mom as well and I could see that in how she was with all the other dogs at the Park. She also treated our Uki with a gentleness that Uki needed being the abused rescue that she was. ❤️

These 3 became the best of friends in the last 2 years and Uki was the luckiest of pups because of it.

I don’t have many photos of Reba alone because she was always side by side with her hubby.

Darling Reba….we know that you are out of pain now and are so happy for that but know that we all miss you so very much and this last week without you has been so very very hard. Love you my baby girl 💔💔💔💔

Well the first full snowfall of the Season arrived today and even though the roads and drivers were crazy….the Pups and I had some very wonderful and magical walks. 🥰 (I am missing photos of my sweet older couple, Red and Reba. It was so fun to watch them rolling in the fresh snow that I totally forgot)
