Ok, there are still a few birds molting, but I have done a careful inventory of the Lady Gouldians, Societies (Bengalese), and Pied Diamond Doves. Here are some sample pics from the bird room. If you or someone you know is interested, they will be available on a first come, first choice basis. Societies are in groups of 3 as pictured. Lady Gouldians will go in pairs as chosen by buyers. Pied Diamond Doves there are 4 pairs and 6 juveniles to choose from. PM me for price list or click on links to kijiji adds.

Well, there are some very big changes blowing into our lives this fall and winter. And they will require I make some big changes. Will be cutting the outside Indian Fantail flock in half. And need to empty the bird room in the house to prep it for other purposes. A huge change for sure. And I know it will be difficult along the way. It will take some time to find people to buy all the stock and equipment. And after investing many thousands of dollars, I can't just give things away. So step by step you will see stock and equipment available. Posted on kijiji. If there are things you are interested in, let me know. And we can likely work something out... If you know anyone looking for good imported European bloodlines in Lady Gouldians, or nice self colored silver and chocolate societies, or beautiful Pied Diamond Doves, or Equipment, or Indian Fantails.... let them know. And watch for new adds going up as molting etc is finished.... Sigh, and it begins....

So who wants to guess how many kilometers I may or may not have driven in the last week to collect a few stunning chicks to replace our hens this summer? Thank you to Westerdale Farms, Sean Abbott, and Tianna Weatherbee for our new little bundles of joy. We have 2 Cream Legbars, 4 Americanas, 1 Welsummer, 4 Mint Chocolate Chip, 1 Surprise chick, and 1 Opal Legbar. A bakers dozen. We hope for 6 hens from the group. Now the waiting game begins...

Whoever guesses the Kilometers traveled closest wins a dozen fresh back yard eggs. But you have to come get them, I have driven enough! lol

Yes it was worth it, the chicks are going to be really cool hens!

It might be snowy, but spring is alive in the Aviary. The Diamond doves are very busy. PM for more info.

Thank you Lord that my Lady Gouldian season is picking up. First 4 Red Head Lutino babies are fledgling, another clutch of 5 hatched on the weekend, and another pair that's both black and red head lutino are sitting on 7 fertile eggs. Plus there are a couple of fledgling big European blue and split blue babies out this week. 🧔🏼‍♂️👍
