🎄🐾 Holiday Stress and Your Feline Friend 🐱✨

With Christmas and New Year’s fast approaching, our feline friends can become more stressed and may be more susceptible to urinary blockages, especially male cats. If this is your kitty’s first holiday with visitors or if they haven’t socialized in a while, be sure to provide them with a quiet, safe space with access to their litter box, food, and water.

Consider using synthetic cat pheromones, available as sprays or plug-in diffusers, to help comfort and reassure your cat. These can reduce stress-related behaviors like urine spraying, scratching, and hiding—perfect for the holiday season.

Check out Freddy in his harness! We saw Freddy for his vaccinations and he strutted his stuff around the clinic. Such a brave sweet boy! Did you know the earlier you get your kitty in the harness the more likely they are to get used to it and maybe even become a great companion explorer! 🐾❤🐱
