Fireworks although beautiful for those of us who understand them, deeply affect many animals - when dogs are affected like this it becomes a major stress for the whole family.
Birds in the wild are often found dead from heart attacks after fireworks
Deer are often awoken and sent panic running into traffic

And so many pets escape and believe they are running for their lives - putting them in great danger and leaving their families completely stressed, searching for them.
And this doesn’t even get into the litter of ash left everywhere including in the rivers, where fish ingest it.

All of this isn’t occasional, it’s very common.

I’ve seen ads for silent fireworks, but I haven’t heard how well they work.

Drone light shows are also becoming more popular. I would be interested to hear how they affect wildlife.
