One of my favorite fish I own is this guy a fire eel!

I bought him at about 5/6 inches and he wouldn’t eat anything I tried pretty much everything frozen blood worms, various cut fish, earthworms, shrimp etc. 3 months past and he was getting really bone thin barely moving and I thought for sure he was a goner. But I tried putting frozen blood worms in front of his face and one day he took one then another and another.

Look at him go now eats pretty much anything right out of my hands and is now 12-13 inches

Picked up some of these guys today to grow up

These are not my pics but pics of what they will eventually look like as adults

Mine are just little guys about 2 inches and it will take a couple years before they get up to size.

Time to relax and bath in the blue light lol

Got rid of my huge tanks and traded down for some smaller ones.

Left to right 90 -125 - 90 and in next pic 2 x 95 gallon wave tanks matching left and right sided.

They don’t make the waves anymore so was hard to track them down especially opposing configurations. But it worked out great I have them butted up next to each other so it looks like one giant 8 ft wave.

Over the next few months I’ll slowly add some rock work, wood and plants and finally decide what fish I’ll start growing up again. I have a few in each tank now.

Time to chill!!
