Mourning geckos - you can’t have just one!!

- did you know that mourning geckos are parthenogenetic. Meaning they don’t require a mate to reproduce. The females will lay clone eggs that will hatch babies.
Which is why they are so prolific in the subtropics.

Myth there are no male mourning geckos. This is not true however there are not very many. Just barely enough to keep biodiversity alive in the wild.

Isopods love maple leaves to snack on.

They are a softer leaf and are quickly consumed by isopods and springtails in a terrarium. They don’t keep their pretty shape for long and are often crushed during the drying and packing process. However your isopods don’t care what they look like!!

We don’t keep lots of them all year round and they sell out fast, so stock up while you can!
