School is almost out! Parkdale wanted to remind clients that next Tuesday May 31 is Parkdale's last day! After this day, Parkdale is embarking on the exciting journey of joining Westmount Animal Hospital starting June 1!

Hoppy Tuesday!
Jumping forward to this weekend, Parkdale will be closed Friday April 15 and Monday April 18 for Easter. The clinic will reopen on Tuesday April 19 at 7am.
Due to this closure and ordering days, the last day to order before the long weekend is tomorrow, Wednesday April 13! Please ensure you have all necessary items!

Do not forget! Tomorrow, Wednesday March 16 is the last day to order food to be able to pick up by Thursday March 17 by 5pm as Parkdale will be closed the following week March 21 to March 24 for a mental wellness week.

The clinic will reopen March 28 at 7am and next delivery day for food would be March 29!

Shadow came to Parkdale today for a rehab session. Today, however, it was take your sister to the vet day. Autumn joined Shadow for her annual wellness exam and vaccines and supervised Shadow's rehab.

To keep Autumn company and not feel left out of all the attention Shadow was getting, Autumn enjoyed lots of cuddles from Parkdale's vet tech.

Edgar wants to say how happy he is after his visit with us yesterday. Edgar made some new friends with the Parkdale team and was such a sweet boy!
He loves his new toy that he got to take home with him too! Mom says Edgar has not left it alone since he got it home.

PARKDALE COVID UPDATE!!

Due to the quickly rising covid cases with the omicron variant, Parkdale has decided to move back to a curbside appointment approach. This is for client and team member safety to help keep all individuals healthy and to help keep Parkdale available to be able to provide quality patient care.

What does this mean?
-Please call the clinic when you arrive for your appointment, food pick up or medication pick up as the clinic has a locked door policy.
-All appointments will be curbside, with no clients entering the clinic, only their pets. Please have your pre-exam questionnaire completed and ready to go.
-Please remain in your vehicle for the duration of your pet's appointment as the vet will call you to discuss the exam findings.

Pulled a tick intruder from a dog patient's chin today, ick!!! The family had been travelling to Idaho recently and had been hiking through the forest.

It is always good to do a full thorough scan of your pets' body and your body after forest and mountain adventures.

Ask your veterinary clinic for more information about tick prevention and tick related questions for your pet.
