I love taking photos of dogs, but my 15-year-old DSLR has had problems the last few years, and I just slowly stopped taking photos. This week, I borrowed a Sony a6700. First thing—a dog photoshoot! I love the dusk photos I got of the dogs. I had to share this side photo of Ranger; in photos of his other side, you can read all of the info on his collar—the camera was that good!

I'm still trying to decide if I "need" a full frame or if I'd be ok in a crop-frame like this one. This camera was a huge upgrade, but analysis paralysis!

We are back from vacation! When I left I had so many good intentions of working on NRD (website, photos, product listings, socials), I thought I'd have lots of time and energy. I was wrong 😂. I spent a good chunk of the vacation underwater 🤿, and the rest of it exploring a tropical island, eating great food, and hanging in a hammock. I guess I needed to unplug and I am so grateful I had the opportunity. Now I'm back home with the dogs and back in the workshop! Happy Thanksgiving

Any plant parents out there? This is the Monstera Collar from our Do Good Collar lineup. Why do we call them Do Good collars?

Business ownership is all about multitasking. But the truth is photoshoots + ball time always = silly cameo appearances from the dogs and a little more dirt in the photos than I’d like. Good thing these collars rinse right off after she repeatedly dropped her dirty ball on them 😂💜

🏔️ a long line so they can safely navigate obstacles.
⚠️ a “wait” cue that means “hang on a second, stop where you are”

Happy Shark Awareness Day! I know, this is a dog account, but hang with me for a minute. Sharks are an incredibly misunderstood and villified group of species. Portrayed as indiscriminate killers, they inspire fear in us, but they are critical to our ocean ecosystems and therefore the health of the planet (and therefore our dogs - I told you I would get there). Overfishing, bycatch, habitat loss and the illegal shark fin trade threaten the continued existence of these critters - something we should all be concerned about.
