"Yesterday my husband found this poor little guy freezing to de*ath, he looks like a skinny ribb. He was starving, full of ticks. How can human trash abandon a little angel like that? Today he is happy, inside the house with clothes on and a full belly. I called him Popcorn. Now this little angel won't suffer anymore." đŸ„°đŸ’

Just spent 2 hrs with a elderly man at Kroger. It started with me just smiling at him, making eye contact.... As I walked past him he looked like he needed something. I went back and asked him if I could help him. Tears welled up in his eyes and he said, "I have colon cancer and I have had a really bad accident, if I get up out of this cart everyone will know... What should I do?". The look of his dignity lost left me with a lump in my throat. From that moment on, Kroger staff quickly fetched us wipes, undergarments and discreetly took him to their employer bathroom Area where he was given clothes. He cried and apologized. He said he had to hurry his wife was at home alone. When we walked to the register we found his groceries all bagged and somehow paid for. He cried harder. He said he fought in Vietnam and Korean War and loved his country, but up until day he said he thought his country forgot about him. We both cried and I shared with him my own struggles and fears... He gave me words of wisdom and encouraged me that maybe after all, humanity still does care about one another.

We went to Walmart today and Kevin went to look at games for the PlayStation4. I told him I wasn't spending $59.99 + tax for that game. Not today. 😂 So this man standing beside us looked at me and said, 'Can I get it for him? Is it ok if I buy it?' His wife was also with him. Ain't God good?! Don't know who they are. But in case you see this, thanks again!!

There are lots of reasons to be worried about our world and the condition we are transferring it to our children. You know why I'm confident in the future? This guy right here.
I knew that Chernet would struggle with the amount of homeless people on the streets of New York City. If you know him, you know that caring for these friends has been on his heart since he joined our family.
During dinner, he stopped halfway through his meal and said, "Dad there was a guy on the street who's sign said he is 20 years old and he's homeless. I need to give him the rest of my food."
So we packed up, left the restaurant, and set off to find this young man. I hung back to take it all in. I've never been prouder to be Chernet's dad than during this moment.

Hannah Hill, a waitress at the Stockbridge Waffle House has had a hard time making ends meet. Having a child at home she was supposed to take care of and another one on the way, this young mother worked hard to provide food for her family.
One evening, however, when she least expected it, her luck was about to change.
Hannah was on the job when Bishop Eusebio Phelps and his family entered Waffle House. Something was telling this man that the waitress who served them, Hannah, was in need of help. He started a conversation with her when she opened up and explained how life was hard at the moment.
Phelps turned to his wife and told her they needed to help this young mother.
After the meal, Phelps gave all the money he had in his wallet to Hannah as a tip, but he knew this encounter wasn’t just a chance meeting when he learned that Hannah was planning on naming her unborn baby Samuel. Both Phelps and his wife knew it was faith that brought them to Hannah as the son they lost seven years ago was also called Samuel.
After giving it some thought, Phelps and his family decided to change Hanna’s life. He went to Facebook to tell his followers about the encounter with the young woman and asked them to donate money to Hannah so that she could provide her children with a better life. The members of the New Faith Christian Church and other people from the local community were more than happy to help and managed to raise $12,000 for the expectant mother.
Hannah had no idea so many people stepped in for her until her mother-in-law called her one day and told her to get to Waffle House as soon as possible. Once at the restaurant, Hannah received the surprise of her life. When she heard what Bishop Phelps did for her, she was overwhelmed with emotions.
On top of the presents and the money they raised for her, they also offered Hannah free daycare services for both her children at the Church daycare.

After Dad’s doctor’s appointment today we went to RiteAid to get a new rubber piece for his cane. We “argued” over which size was right, the 1-inch or the 3/4-inch.... The clerk at the store giggled as she listened to us. I then said “well I’m sure the engineer must be right” and she said “That’s funny, as I watched him intensely calculate it, I thought he must be an engineer!” Yep, 88 years old and he can still do it.....and of course I picked the wrong one!...
He went up to the cashier to pay and decided he wanted a Kit Kat bar too. He picked up a King Size one which I thought was strange for him, but I wasn’t going to question it. When I dropped him off at home, he quickly split the Kit Kat in half (I didn’t even see him do it!) and gave me half when I got in my car. He sweetly said “this is why I bought the big bar, in case you were wondering”.
I love my Lil’ Ol’ Man. We got this...
(PS....this is round #2 of head/neck cancer for him, so every crazy minute we spend together is priceless)

Zach Galifianakis Paid Old Homeless Woman's Rent for Decades & Spent Time with Her as She Lost Her Family
When Zach Galifianakis met Marie "Mimi" Haist, she was volunteering in a laundromat, surviving off tips left by customers. She was only allowed to sleep between the washers and dryers so customers couldn't see her.
Haist revealed that she became homeless after her divorce and had been on the streets for decades. Even though Galifianakis was an unknown comedian at the time, he found a comfortable apartment for her and paid her rent.
Galifianakis became a Hollywood star after filming alongside Bradley Cooper in the "Hangover" movie trilogy. However, his fame didn't affect his heart, and he remained down-to-earth.
He maintained a strong bond with Haist and even walked a red carpet with her as his date.
"If he's in town, he takes me ... I dress up nice, and a friend helps me with my makeup. It's fun, not something I've ever dreamed I'd experience. The limo takes me home afterward," revealed Haist.
Their friendship lasted nearly 27 years until she died at 96 years old.

On my flight back to Georgia I saw this man, who was a stranger to this woman, offer to help her because she was pregnant and alone on the flight and her son was upset and fussy. He did not complain, he just told her that he was a DAD, and wanted to help her so she could rest. This MAN walked the aisle most of the flight from Minneapolis to Atlanta comforting this woman's son as if he was his own...I was in tears....because it showed me today that there are still GOOD people out there in a world full of turmoil. Big UPS to this DAD and all the DADS out there...you are the real MVPS!

On a cold night in South Carolina, this man came upon a pair of girls sitting outside selling Girl Scout cookies.
With his kind eyes and a warm smile, he bought seven boxes of cookies, and gave the girls $40. "Keep the change," he said.
A little while later, seeing the girls still outside and noticing the weather, he said “pack up all of your cookies. I’m taking them all so y’all can get out of this cold.”
The man had spent $540 on cookies!
The girls were stunned. What an amazing soul!!!!
They thanked him again and again, and he walked away.
The man was never identified by name, but they never forgot his kindness. He taught them that there are good people in the world, and that even a small act of kindness can make a big difference.

I found him on a rainy morning, abandoned near a gas station by the highway. He was soaked, shivering, and meowing desperately, as if crying out for help. I parked my truck and approached him slowly, not wanting to scare him. When he saw me, he didn’t run away. Instead, he looked up at me with eyes full of distress and hope. At that moment, I knew I couldn’t leave him there.
I scooped him up and placed him on the passenger seat, wrapping him in a blanket I kept in the cab. On the drive, he stopped meowing and began to doze off, as if he understood he was finally safe. I decided to name him "Captain," a fitting name because he seemed ready to take charge of every new adventure.
Since that day, Captain has been my loyal travel companion. Every morning, he climbs up onto the dashboard, his favorite spot, where he watches the world go by. Sometimes, he clings to the steering wheel with his little paws, pretending to drive. It always makes me laugh, and people who pass us can’t help but smile or take photos.
But Captain is more than just a funny cat. He has become an essential part of my life on the road. Thanks to him, my lonely days are now filled with laughter, surprises, and comfort. He’s taught me that even the most unexpected encounters can change our lives in profound ways. And every day, he reminds me that sometimes, the simplest acts of kindness—like helping a creature in need—can have the greatest impact.

A worker at a frozen fish factory experienced an event he would never forget. During his shift, he was accidentally trapped inside the industrial freezer. Desperate, he shouted for help, but the shift had ended, and the factory was completely empty. As the freezing cold consumed him, he realized his fate seemed sealed.
When all hope seemed lost, something unexpected happened: the door opened, and the factory's security guard rescued him at the last moment, saving him from certain death.
The next day, the manager, shocked by what had happened, asked the guard:
"How did you know he was inside and hadn’t left with the others?"
The guard replied with simplicity but deep meaning:
"Out of all the workers, he was the only one who greeted me every day. He always smiled at me and asked how I was doing. That night, I noticed his absence. I hadn’t heard his voice or seen his smile. I knew something was wrong, so I searched for him
 and I found him."
A small act of kindness can make the difference between life and death.
