Herman was one of the rescues from Horseshoe Stable adopted out about a year ago 💙 I'm super happy to have ran into his new family and begun teaching them lessons on him this year! This boy is really starting to come along now that he has consistency 😍 We are currently teaching beginner riders the basics as well as teaching Herman to do more trot under saddle as well as beat herd bound behavior. He's come quite a long way in just a couple of weeks and his happy to pack two little girls around as well as two adults!

The hair do Rosie walked up with today 😅 Luckily I got them all out and it worked in favor for training. Rosie doesn't like the sound of a spray bottle and often times when she spooks, she pulls backwards. Today we made some progress on that behavior when I was spraying detangler into her forelock. We've got it down to her just raising her head instead of pulling backwards and ripping cross ties from the wall like she has in the past!

A 4 1/2 hr drive home to get right back into the saddle before I even went home today! My legs were not happy with me 😅 Lexi did well with our conditioning in the cross country arena and a trail ride to cool off. Rose and I also had a very good session today, starting off with fitness work in the round pen, then raised poles and finished it off with some Hill work. It's amazing how much I miss being in the saddle even if I only have a day or two off.
