AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

This is Alice!

She is a 5yr 8m spayed female.
She was surrendered to us a few months ago as her owner was no longer able to care for her. Currently she is being fostered off site but is ready to find her forever home.
Alice is a sweet girl but can be nervous, she would do best in a quiet home as the only cat as she does like to get all the attention from her human companions! She has lived with other cats but can be quite bossy and likes her space.
Her last vaccines (Rabies and FVRCP) were done October 2023.
Alice has some minor health concerns that will discussed with any potential adopters. Visits are by appointment as Alice is not on site.

Flowers for Farley 💐

Fresh cut bouquets grown locally by one of our RVTs will be available throughout the next few weeks. All proceeds will be going towards The Farley Foundation.

Our office hours are as follows:

•Please pay attention to your town/city’s social media page for bulletins regarding rivers or bodies of water that have been contaminated with blue green algae! Avoid these areas as the algae is toxic to pets!

Brave had his first appointment today with Dr.Veysey and he lived up to his name! He did so well for his exam and vaccines.
He had lots of fun playing and getting attention from all the staff members.

Is your pet on tick prevention?
This year we have a total of 14 positive Lyme disease cases so far.
Make sure to check your pet's regularly for ticks and keep them on a prevention year round. Ticks can be found any time the ambient temperature is above zero degrees Celsius.

Have you found a tick on your pet or yourself? Waterloo Region Public Health has a handy, free service to identify them!

We recommend if you find a deer tick (or blacklegged tick) on your dog that they get a blood test 6-8 weeks later to ensure they haven't picked up any tick borne diseases.

If you find a tick, remove it, take a photo and submit the photo to http://etick.ca for identification.

Experts will identify the tick. It’s easy and free. Contact your health care provider if it is a blacklegged tick, an unidentified tick or if you do not feel well.
