📣 Jingles needed for sweet, sweet Rootbeer

Winston, also known by his adorable nickname “Rootbeer”, joined our rescue recently as a discarded breeding dog from a puppy mill. He’s likely fathered many, many, many litters of puppies in his short life. He is a five year old miniature poodle who has never had any socialization or any chance to learn how to be a dog. Poor Rootbeer has had a pretty rough life start in life and since being in our care it seems this poor boy has still drawn the short end of the stick. Initial labs showed RB was severely anemic, has a bladder infection and both ears extremely infected, which we have been treating, but now unfortunately, Rootbeer is battling a pretty severe case of pancreatitis. He is currently hospitalized and has been spending time at Fisher Mills Animal Hospital and the Emergency Clinic of Waterloo Region for treatment. His hospitalized care is about $1000/day right now but may increase as we continue medical intervention and wait for results of further tests.

Hey guys! This dog was found near preston public school earlier today. They brought the dog in to check for a microchip, but we didnt find one. Do you recognize this dog? The person who found the little one will be keeping him for a day or two in hopes that she can find the owner over social media. Otherwise, he will be brought to the humane society.
