The Cambridge and District Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and providing shelter and comfort to the needy animals of the Cambridge and District community in Ontario, Canada. mals in need within our community. We Believe:

🚨UPDATE
Last night around 9pm Brie went into labour. The Animal Services Team did an absolutely phenomenal job acting as her mid-wives and waited on her hand and paw throughout the night. After giving birth to 8 puppies 😳– 5 boys and 3 girls – Brie is absolutely exhausted💤. She is still a young pup herself and she is resting as comfortably as she can be while navigating mother hood. 🥰

⭐️ UPDATE ON BLUEY ⭐️ Last week we brought you the story of BLUEY, the dog tied to our door, emaciated and suffering with seizures. We are so very pleased to let you all know he’s doing great! He’s gaining weight, taking his medication and so far he’s been seizure free - paws crossed 🐾 He loves snacks and eating out of his snuffle mat ❤️ We’ll keep you posted on when he’s ready to begin the search for a new home 🏡
