It’s been a while, I know friends 🥺
This year has been S-L-O-W 🐢
I finally sat down over the weekend to look at my sowing and transplanting dates and what all the “days to maturity” were on all the veggies…..we are a good month behind 😭
But, on a happy note…..I have my first zinnia, Little Flower Girl and my Hydrangeas this year…🤯
These beauties are going to be used to put into practice my course I took this year 🥰

The donation from the fundraiser has finally been made. I spent a few days trying to figure it all out.
$120 donation was made in honour of my mom Shelagh, who struggles every damn day with Alzheimer’s.
Another $120 donation was made in memory of Mr. Peter Hutt, father of my good friend .hutt and husband to his love Linda Hutt. I have been so very thankful for both of these ladies while muddling through the journey with my mom. Ladies, your thoughts, support and words of wisdom have meant more than I can say and because of that, I felt every ounce of your pain in the passing of Peter.
Let’s all hang on to the precious memories of our loved ones and those of you that are blessed to still have your folks with you physically and mentally….love them fiercely while they’re here 💜❤️

A very sincere heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you that purchased one 🥰
$240 was raised and I will be making the donation on Monday!!

Second subscription for a lovely lady just went out the door!

And look what I did…. I grew Carnations!! I wish you could smell them….they are small but mighty!! I think my stepdaughter said they smell like cloves. What ever it is, it’s amazing and they are just for me! (And a dahlia of course 😁)

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided that this last weekend’s flower stand will be the last. The time, money and energy that it takes to put these bouquets together…you have no idea!

I will still be open to do custom orders as well as bulk buckets of blooms for your diy projects.

It just breaks my heart to, week after week, throw these beauties into the compost.

If you have made purchases from my stand in the past, I send a huge “Thank You” and a big hug to you!! 🥰💕

If you’re hoping to come by and get flowers today, you might want to get here as soon as possible….. I think I’m going to have to pull the bouquets in early because of the heat.
Also, if you’re planning to grab some make sure you’re heading home right away to give them a fresh cut and right into water with flower food! I want you to be able to enjoy them for as long as possible….they don’t like being in a hot car for too long 🥵

So friends….. I figured it’s about time to post so you can see why there’s been radio silence over here. Am I still growing flowers? I’m trying my best but Mother Nature is a Haggis McBaggis this year 😩 Will I still have bouquets and mason jars again this year? You bet I will! If summer ever arrives The Dahlias are putting on buds, can’t wait for them to start they’re show! And the Cosmos and Zinnias are not far behind 🤞🏼 Stay tuned I’m still here 🙋🏻‍♀️
