Starting December 28th I will be offering Drop-In Barrel Practice dates until the end of March. I will be staying up Island during this time as well and will be available for private and group lessons.

In the short term, looking at the weather forecast, Drop In Practice Days can be:

- December 28
- December 30
- December 31
- January 1
- January 2

All dates above are showing sun at the moment 🌞

Whether you want to get your young horses out, or have the space to keep yourself and your horse sharp over the winter, it will be a great opportunity!

Race 5 Payout 💰

Just shy of $8,000 to be paid out from Race 5, including the Sidepot Slot Race.

Congrats to everyone getting a piece of the pie!

This series paid out $21,803 to competitors!! Almost $22K going into the jean pockets of our competitors in what would be our off season over just a 2 month time span!

This brings all races since starting in 2021, to $131,622!! I never imagined what I thought was going to be jackpot races from something to do in the off season would amount to what it has. I am so thankful for all of the sponsors who have supported these races, the competitors that have come out, all of the volunteers who have helped and all the lovely people who come to watch and cheer everyone on!

Congratulations to all of the Sidepot Slot Race winers who got to take home even more money from this bonus Sidepot!

Race 5 saw changes to first in the 2D with Mary-Ann taking top spot, securing her 2 1st Place Big Cheques worth $1432! Leslie Pederson held onto second place in the 2D on Forrest from her run in Race 4.

Kailia Christie's consistency secured her 1st and 2nd in the 3D worth $1193!

Courtenay's time from Race 1 landed her 1st in the 4D just ahead of Jayla Mackenzie, who beat her own time from Race 2 yesterday and secured herself 2nd in the 4D.

The 1D winning time came from Mary-Ann's new arena record from Race 2 and 2nd was taken by me from my run in Race 2 as well.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to day and all who have been part of the Fall Series! It was sure an exciting day to hand out all of the buckles and big cheques! Congrats to everyone and thank you to all of the amazing sponsors that made it all possible!

Thank you so much to all of the volunteers for their help today and throughout the series! These are the people that keep everything running smoothly and seamlessly! I appreciate each of you so much! Thank you Lee Pendergast for announcing and the punch lines as well as the music! Race 4 Results Hot Off the Press!

Congrats to everyone who got a piece of the pie for Race 4! Congrats Leslie Pederson and French Royal Lady on taking the Futurity Crackout 2025 Championship! Many thanks to BC Futurity Derby Incentive for their sponsorship of the Futurity Crackout Sidepot bringing the added money in the Futurity Sidepot up to $350! We appreciate everyone's patience with the last minute date change due to weather, but I'm sure glad we did! Yesterday was perfect! E-transfers will begin today and all will be sent in the next few days.
