You can teach your Kitty Tricks easily with a clicker and a little patience.
Using a clicker can make cat training easier and faster—partly because the click sound communicates the exact moment when an animal is doing something right.
When training with a clicker, you first teach your animal to associate each click with a reward (say, a favorite treat).
Clicker training should be started when the cat is fairly young; three months as a general rule, but kitties can learn at any point in time. It's easiest to start once your kitten is eating solid foods so they can receive rewards.

When to Socialize your Kitten :)
The best time to socialize a kitten is from 2 to 7 weeks of age. This is when kittens are most open to new experiences and thirsty to learn. When socializing your kitten(s), it is important to remember that exposure is not the same as socialization.
Playful little ones are the best entertainment there is.

How, When and Why should I trim my Cat's Nails?
First Things First:
Most cats don’t like to have their nails trimmed and some will absolutely not tolerate it. If your cat won’t even allow you to hold his or her paws, you may have to rely on a pet groomer or your cat’s vet to trim your pet’s nails. 🐾
If you take a slow and easy approach, you can succeed in time, especially if you have treats ready, and your cat may associate the nail clipping routine with yummy treats.
Don’t attempt to clip your cat’s nails if your pet is upset or if you are upset.
Organize Your Supplies: 🐾
Towel – You can gently wrap your cat loosely in a towel if you are afraid he or she might suddenly bolt off your lap and scratch you.
Sharp cat nail clippers – There are a variety of good nail clippers for cats. Some of them are designed to make sure you don’t clip too close to the vein that runs into the thick part of the claw.
Styptic Powder – If you have clippers that aren’t designed to protect the vein and you accidently cut into it, you can apply a small amount of powder to stop the bleeding.
Rehearsals are Important: 🐾
Even an outdoor cat should become used to the idea that you can hold and massage his or her paws and extend the nails when your cat is seated on your lap.
It’s easier for a young cat to become used to a routine rather than introduce it when your cat is older and it becomes a necessity.
For several days prior to the first nail trimming, hold your cat in your lap facing away from any windows and away from you in a quiet room.
Gently massage your cat’s neck and then the front legs and paws. Talk quietly to your little pet as you do this. Gently press on the footpad to extend a nail, then quickly release it, and give your cat a treat.
Do this every day on a different toe.
Note the pink part of the nail, called the quick—this is the extra sensitive part of their nail consisting of nerves and blood vessels.
Do the Deed!🐾

Do cats need regular grooming?
Grooming requirements are usually greater for long-haired and medium-haired cats and increase during the shedding seasons when cats shed more hair. It is generally recommended to groom long-haired and medium-haired cats on a daily basis while short-haired cats require grooming about once a week.
What Annoys your Cat?
There’s no doubt that cats are mysterious creatures. Even though they’re adorable in their own way, they’re known to be temperamental, with a long list of things they aren’t keen on.
Smells - 🐈🐾🐱
They can’t stand citrus and as much as you might love the smell of fresh herbs, cats hate rosemary and thyme. Banana and mustard are a big no-no too, as well as lavender and eucalyptus. Many essential oils are toxic to cats so it stands to reason that they instinctively want to run the other way when they get a whiff of your bath oils. They also aren’t a fan of strong menthol smells.
Too much attention - 🐈🐾🐱
If you’re a cat mom or dad then you’ll know that cats are independent creatures. They can’t stand over-aggressive petting and many of them just like doing their own thing. Respect your cat’s boundaries and don’t try to force them to spend time with you if they don’t want to- they will let you know when they need love and affection!
Medicine- 🐈🐾🐱
If you have a feline fur baby, you’ll know that cats HATE having to take medicine. Whether they have to take liquid medicine or medication in the form of a pill, giving your cat what they need to stay healthy is easier said than done.
Spoiled food- 🐈🐾🐱
This one kind of goes without saying but cats hate spoiled food. As mentioned above, cats are sensitive to smells and if something seems a bit off, they won’t want anything to do with it. Wet food goes off quicker than dry, so if your cat is a grazer you might want to consider opting for dry food. Food spoils quicker when it’s warm so it’s worth considering how long your cat’s wet food has been left out if they don’t seem keen during the warmer months.
Loud noises-🐈🐾🐱
Does your cat give you a dirty look whenever you drop something? There’s a very good reason why they do this; cats hate sudden loud noises and excessive noise can be very frightening for them. As much y
Are Food Puzzles Good for Cats?
Yes! A lot of people adopt cats because they think that they're low maintenance. They think, "It's a cat, I don't have to walk it. I'm not going to have to play with it. I can feed it, clean its litter box, and it will just kind of exist in my house." But it's really important for you to interact with and stimulate your cat, whether it's a kitten or an adult.
They Reduce Anxiety and Behavioral Issues
A lot of behavioral problems in cats stem from them being bored and unchallenged. Food puzzles are a great way to combat that boredom.
They Boost Activity and Curiosity
My cat Toulouse is amazing. He loves to explore and he's very curious, and because of that, I have to keep him active. In this article, I'll be sharing two great food puzzles I have for Toulouse. Both are great for hard food or treats (I recommend Temptations—his absolute favorite), but not wet food.
