Broke my heart to do this...

9 months as of yesterday feels like a lifetime without my clients.

Both Google & Facebook have been updated to Temporarily closed as my recovery progress is slow and the safety of myself and your fur babies is my priority.

One day I hope to be back but I don't think it will ever be the same unfortunately. 😞

I am so sorry I haven't updated any social media in a while.

I had the mind set at the time 6+ months ago that the accident "wasn't that bad I should be ok." Well that was/is not the case unfortunately.

My mental and physical heath have made it impossible for me to return to work and safely groom your beloved fur babies.

All of this has made me so frustrated, my business and relationships with my clients is something I worked so very hard for, for many years and for all of that to be ripped away from me has left my heart broken.

Dealing with ICBC has been enough to send me into a mental down hill spiral, I am exhausted with every day being a challenge. I am doing my very best as a mother and business owner to get back to my life before the accident but unfortunately at this time I can't see the ending.

I am so sorry to all of my clients whom have stuck by me through so much over the years & I miss you all so very much! I have always said my clients are life family and not seeing both owner and dogs makes me sad.

I hope that this post finds you & that you know I love you all who have supported me.

I dont know what the future brings, I don't know if/when I will be returning to work and that scares me.

I am still taking a few clients down to Cumberland but not going as often as I was. If you are needing this done please reach out ♡

Again I am sorry for all of this & am working on my recovery.

Today has been a very emotional day.

We had to make a quick trip into Vancouver to say goodbye to my moms best friend Pippy. She had an amazing 15 years with her and always brightened up your day with her spicy self.

She will be missed greatly and left quite a large hole in our hearts, but I hope she's running with my Zula dog having an amazing time.

These last few months have been very trying on me, with more unexpected things popping up.
I am still off work at this time, please reach out if we have talked about getting your dog transported to Cumberland to be groomed & remind me if I had said I will as I have noticed with the concussion I have had, my memory is worse than ever. I apologize in advance and thank you all for being so patient and understanding.

To all of my valued clients!

I want you to know that I haven't forgotten about you and miss everyone everyday.

I am still off work, for the time being I know finding a groomer can be a struggle so I have been offering to transport dogs down to a grooming salon in Cumberland that I trust 100% with your beloved fur babies as well as my own fur baby!

If you are struggling to find a groomer because you are waiting for me or if transportation is an issue, let me know and I can make arrangements with the shop and book them in and transport them safely. Even if transportation around town is an issue i am more than happy to help!
Also, I will be staying with them to make sure they are comfortable & happy ♡

The price for getting them groomed there is a bit more than my shop fees but well worth it as the ladies are amazing, use high-end products and treat them with respect and love.

I have had the pleasure of transporting a few of my clients so far as well as a few more coming up.

I want to make this very clear I do NOT expect any extra $ for doing this, nor will I be charging you. This is something I want to do to ensure your pup is well looked after ♡

Hi everyone!!

I hope this finds you well and you had the most amazing Christmas and new years!

I wanted to give an update!

At this time I am currently still off work 😭 in ways my arm has gotten worse. I have no answers as to what it may be but I am now hopefully being sent to some specialists to do some further testing, but with that comes more waiting. I am currently still waiting for an MRI, but at this time I have nothing to go on as far as a diagnosis.

I am so sorry for all of this I wish I had some better news for everyone, I miss all of my clients both furry and human ♡

I am looking into possibly hiring someone for the time being but that is proving to be a bit more challenging than expected as dog grooming is a hard job that requires a very special kind of person and for me that person needs to fit in perfectly ♡

Please I understand waiting for me to be back to work is as important for you as it is me, but I need everyone to remain on a schedule so that matting doesn't become an issue. I will gladly give you references for those I feel would be a good fit for you to get your furry loved on groomed at.

I love and appreciate you all ♡

Dear clients,

I wish I had better news for everyone waiting for me to get back to work.
But unfortunately, at this time I am still off work 😭.

I miss my clients so very much!

I am hoping this doesn't destroy my business! At this point, I have lost many new clients, and my existing clients have been amazing.

What I hope for is that I have made all my clients feel something with me that they haven't felt with anyone else, that they feel their furry friend is well cared for with me & they are safe in my care. I hope that with this relationship I have made with my clients that when I am back to work, everyone will return.

This last month has been a roller coaster ride for my family & I.
The emotional and financial stress this has caused my family is almost unbearable, but we will make it though as we always do ♡

I wanted to thank all of my clients for being so patient & understanding through all of this, I appreciate EVERYONE of you!

Dear valued clients,

As most of you have heard, I was involved in an accident (not my fault) on October 21st.

I have been to my family, Dr. I had a physiotherapist appointment earlier today.

With that being said I am regretfully writing this that I am having to take off more time than initially anticipated 😭 I have a pinched nerve in my neck causing an extreme amount of pain down my left arm essentially making my left arm limp/numb, making it impossible to hold a dog while grooming or holing my equipment safely.

The middle of my back is muscle bound from tensing during the incident, so bending over my bathtub to wash your furry loved ones is impossible.

I was hoping to be back to work by now as this has impacted my family more than I thought financially & emotionally. But I need to listen to my Dr's & my body on this one, and it's telling me daily not to use my arm (even though with 2 kids, it's impossible not to use it 🤦‍♀️).

I am so very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you! I don't want to be off any more than you want to go to another groomer. Trust me, I know how stressful it is for you and your pup to change groomers.

I do have 2 grooming salons whom i trust completely to look after you both they are helping me out for the time being one of which is in town (campbell river) and one who is down in Cumberland for those who are willing to travel they are the same ones I used when I was off for surgery.

Your dogs safety & wellbeing are my priorities when finding you an alternative groomer.

Please know this is extremely hard for me to be off and send my clients elsewhere, as I have been telling everyone "this doesn't just financially hurt me now it hurts my family & my business for the future."

I love and appreciate everyone's understanding during this unfortunate time.

Christmas grooms aren't even an option for me to be off work, so you do not have to worry about that!

I had to get my 7 year old to help me lift, wash & dry Miss Via the other day. He loved it! 😍

I love how much my clients trust me to make the best decisions possible for their furry loves ♡

Mr. Theo is a pretty anxious/nervous little man and I do the best I can with him (I wish I got some before pictures 🤦‍♀️).

I also want to put it out there I AM NOT a Yorkie groomer haha I don't love their hair, also I can never get their face shape rite 🤦‍♀️ and I'm too picky for how the hair flops and swoops in all different directions lol

That being said I have fun coming up with some sort of design on the spot to what ever suits the dogs needs, owners wants & comfort ♡

I am so thankful His mommy trusted me with this cut as saying goodbye to the puppy floof can be hard to do ♡

One of the hardest parts of my job is watching clients fur babies get old.

The heartbreak is shared as clients both furry & human become a part of my family.

I don't get alot of time with them but I cherish the time I do get.

Miss Maggie went over the rainbow thismorning.

This photo was taken by her mom yesterday, she had an amazing play at the beach, lots of love & some timbits.
Her mom said she must have known she had permission to leave happy.

As I sit here crying while writing this my heart hurts for this family & I send so much love to anyone whom has ever lost a fur baby 🐕.
