von Platen Farms would like to extend congratulations to Helene Eldegard and her Canadian bred Hanoverian mare La Chasse, who recently was awarded Overall Show Highpoint and Hanoverian High Point at the CA-ADA Fall Fling show, which was sponsored by the Canadian Hanoverian Society Western Club.

A few photos from the recent Western Canadian Hanoverian Society Mare and Foal Inspection & Show that was hosted by von Platen Farms! The day was beautiful weather and a wonderful field of horses!

Congratulations to all the participants of the Western Canada Hanoverian Inspection held at von Platen Farms. Our judges were Dr. Christmann and George von Platen. The test rider was Andrea Harris.
We had a great turn out and all of the horses were presented professionally.
The top Dressage foal was sired by Finest, bred and owned by Elisha Weaver.
The best jumper foal was sired by Escudo 1, bred and owned by Chris & Tara Lambie. This foal was also given the Gold foal award!
All the mares in the mare performance test were awarded a 1A. Emily Grahams Wolkentanz 2 mare Wilma was awarded the best mare of show.

Thelma and Louise Sport Horses Arielle sired by Arezo VDL won the mare performance test.

We’d like thank all who participated, the volunteers and sponsors for helping to make the show a success.
