This is Survivor, an 8-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever who’s been through unimaginable loss and hardship. Just recently, his world was turned upside down when his beloved owner was tragically killed in a car accident, leaving him heartbroken and alone. On top of that, Survivor is recovering from the amputation of his front right leg due to cancer. He’s been through so much, yet he continues to wait for someone to show him love again.

Despite all he’s endured, Survivor still has a lot of life left in him. He’s great in the car and enjoys every ride, still eager for adventures by your side. He walks well on a leash, happy to stay close to whoever is with him. However, Survivor isn’t the right fit for homes with livestock or small animals, as his strong prey drive makes it hard for him to be around them safely. But for the right home, he will be the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for.

At 8 years old and with only three legs, Survivor may not be as fast as he once was, but his heart is still full of love and hope. He’s searching for someone who can give him the safe, peaceful home he desperately needs to recover from his physical and emotional wounds.

Survivor has lost everything, but he’s still holding on to hope. Will you be the one to give this brave boy a second chance? He’s waiting for someone to see past his scars and offer him the love he deserves. Could that be you?

Just had this delectably, scrumptious, 20 minute preparation meal kit called Creamy Shrimp Scampi. Everything home made and prepared by Forking Delicious. Seriously, the best I’ve ever tasted, and generous portions, as this was half of the meal kit

I will have my usual selection of all natural, human grade, very low gluten, vegetarian treats that your pups will love. I will have peanut butter, blue over you, and my tropical banana biscotti. So happy to be launching a new cookie Thursday. Loving Liver, my first meat cookie made with beef liver, usual flours,(no wheat, corn, soy), farm fresh eggs, apple juice, turmeric, dash of pepper and garlic powder. I must say, they smell pretty good 😊
