Hiro, the ultimate giant goof that we just can't get enough, came in for his routine nail trim. After about half a jar of liver treats, the job is complete, and Hiro is ready to show off his new mani/pedi, with his perfectly splayed out toe beans and a pocket full of more treats!

Crash came in for his professional teeth cleaning, performed under general anesthesia. Here he is pictured before/during/after the big day at the vet, recovering smoothly! 🦷❤️🩺

Why do we put our patients under general anesthesia for a teeth cleaning, you may ask?
🦷 their airways are protected from aerosolized bacteria and foreign material (tartar) during the scaling
🦷 only anesthetized pets can receive a thorough oral exam, gingival probing, and dental radiographs
🦷 it allows for cleaning under the gums, where most dental disease occurs

Grizz has been visiting us for monthly Solensia injections for almost 2 years to help with arthritic pain.

Solensia injections help to improve mobility, making it easier and more comfortable for arthritic cats to walk up and down stairs, to jump up and off objects, to run and chase, and for overall comfort and wellbeing.

Hunter is a lovely German Shepherd Dog who likes to fish for rocks when the lakes are thawed. Her human initially noted the fractured canine tooth, and requested to have it assessed by our veterinarian.
