Meet Blue. He's a 7 month old Irish setter and he just signed up for some group walks. He's a super good boy and makes good use of his time making friends and having fun! I had to be quick as he had far more important things he'd rather be doing, but he took a moment of his time and posed for a picture for me. :)

Wrapping up the end of my day with these guys. Group #3 and #4 (forgot to post earlier ;). This was a fun day with the best, well behaved, dogs!! Now for some food and some well earned sleep before I do it all again tomorrow. These guys have me wiped! Lol 💤😴

Heads up everyone. I may have to get a new battery for my van installed tomorrow morning as it just died and I'm not able to get it started. Going to try boosting it one more time but I wanted to get the word out that I may be delayed. 😥

It was this little guys birthday yesterday. He turned 9 years old. 🎉🎂🥳
It only made sense to take him out for a complimentary birthday walk!!

Cash and Oskar. These two were my shotgun sidekicks this morning. I didn't really have much choice as they both pretty much refuse to stay in the back with the others. LOL Kind of a win-win for all of us. ;)

Grizzly at Quarry lake dog park/surrounding area at 9 PM. To my understanding Fish and Wildlife are aware and they are keeping an eye out.

I'm sure all of the dogs will be pretty happy when this heatwave breaks in a couple days. It's been a challenging week for them to say the least. That said, we did our best by sticking to the shade, hitting the water whenever possible and staying well hydrated. :)
Tix three were certainly enjoying their time at the quarry dog pond today! Love watching these dogs. Have fun. Shiloh, Begbie and Silver posed for a picture for me on the way out. ♥️👍🏻🧀

It's true, your pup would rather be comfortable than go for a scorching hot walk. 🤷🏻‍♂️

To my human moms & dads, this is what happens to my paws when you take me out in the scorching sun ☀️ when the pavement is so hot !

Remember I sweat through my paws, so in this heat I can’t get rid of my sweat as my paws are burning. Missing my walk won’t harm me. Please let me just relax indoors and take me out when the sun is down🐾

If you see someone walking their dog on hot pavement, ask them to take off their shoes for the remainder of their walk home. Maybe then they'll understand.

Hello everyone, soon after my post regarding the safety of our dogs in this heat, my air conditioning failed in my van. 🤬 This, of course, puts me in a bad situation. It would be completely irresponsible, and unsafe, for me to try and continue operating in these conditions therefore, I have no choice but to temporarily shut down until I find an alternative means of transporting the dogs or until my appointment with the mechanic on Friday morning. This does not affect my first morning run each day as the temperatures are much cooler and more tolerable for the dogs. I will also be starting each morning a little bit earlier to take advantage of the cooler temps. :)
If any of my weekly regulars are reading this, please note that I will be reaching out to everyone individually to make temporary arrangements if anyone is in a bind.
I would much rather be working and not having to interrupt my services but unfortunately that's the way it goes sometimes.
Thank you for your patience and understanding over the next couple of days and it should be business as usual after my appointment on Friday.
