Rex also insisted on getting some bodywork!
And after his bodywork he was able to sit properly, with l was told, he never before was able to do!
No more "slouching" with a leisury looking curved back and sitting on one hind leg, with his other hind leg stretched out away from the body.

Teemu an older Husky type dog is having mobility problems, he just had his first bodywork session with me.
We're hoping we can rebuild some muscle strength and more muscle after his body enlignment and massage.
He is a very friendly kind dog and enjoyed his bodywork.

Left pic before Cranial decompression,
Dull eyes that aren't facing the same direction.

Right pic AFTER!!
Bright eyes - and both eyes are balanced and facing the same direction!

Do l need to mention his head ache that this young horse have been battling is less already!
And after a treatment everything will keep shifting for 3 to 7 days! = less headache, less head trauma, less spookey, less head shaking - if that was a problem prior to cranial session.

The crystals are Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Lapis lazuli, Clear Quartz, Carnelian, Fluorite, Black Tourmaline, Hematite, Red jasper and Blue Lace agate. So much goodness in one quilt.

Old pets and kids, kids need to know, to love a pet is to let them go when their time with us is up. Not to let them suffer.
True Love!

Well, today didn't go as we hoped but it's in the hardest of times we learn the best lessons and feel the most gratitude.

Buffy was scheduled to have her teeth cleaned and removed today but Dr. Mac had a gut feeling she needed to look at some lab work before putting her under anesthesia. She was right; Buffy showed signs of advanced kidney failure so anesthesia was not an option and as a family we decided that the kindest and most loving thing to do would be to let her go before she lost her will to live and stopped eating and drinking.

I wouldn't have dreamed of leaving Robbie out of this decision or not allowing him to be part of the entire process so I immediately went and picked him up from school. On the way there he told me he wanted to be the one to hold her when she went to heaven. And of course, I gave him that honor. On the way home I told him how proud I was of him for understanding the importance of caring for old animals and helping to make sure they never ever suffer.

This is what he said...
(And for those of you who don't know, Robbie was adopted from the foster care system after years of severe abuse and neglect.)

"I know how it feels not to be loved or cared for and I don't want any animal of mine to ever feel that way. It's only sad for us when they go to heaven. It's a happy day for them. Thank you for being proud of me. Are you ok, Mom?"

(As our story is being shared more and more I feel like I need to add a little more context and also give you a deeper glimpse into the heart of my son. We adopt senior dogs. Robbie LOVES adopting senior dogs. He is sadly aware the longer a child remains in foster care the less likely they are to be adopted. He told me once "if all you guys had wanted was a baby, you would have never gotten me." He relates to our "old people" (that's what we call our senior dogs) in much the same way.
He has also reminded me on several occasions that it doesn't matter how long you have something for how much you love it. I asked him what he meant and he said "well you've only known me for two years but you love me like it's been forever." Yes, my son is the coolest.)

Cranial decompression for Goldie! She took a bump to her head going into the trailer. Her occiput, forhead, TMJ, mandible took the impact. Her fasial muscles tightened up, her right eye apppers to be larger ( is more foreward) her left side of her bottom lip slightly lower. All this impackts how the horse function, and will with time affect under laying brain, thyroid and can then affect more organs in the body!

Have your horse bumped his/her head going in or out of the trailer?
Is a head shacker or spooks easily?
Has sinus problems?
Cranial decompression might help!

Bodywork done on this sweet, active 4 year old pup!
Her loss of mobility in her lumbar area, brought her owner to me.
Working on bringing increased blood flow to her muscles & facia to strengthen and balance to her body so her lumbar discs can start healing and she get her mobility back!
It will take time, but she is in such a good spirit so helping her heal is a priority!

Goldie bumped her head going into the trailer!
Doing cranio decompression to release the pressure caused by hitting her head.
She is enjoying her session!

Sain'Ja got her first bodywork session.
A 4 year old happy, sweet, very active and alert pup!
She started having mobility problems a few weeks ago, have been vet checked, found problems with her lumbar discs.
Her lumbar discs are inflamed and she is on meds.
So worked on her muscles & fasia to bring more blood flow to her injured discs and then worked on balancing her body so it can move properly and speed up her recovery.
It will take time, but she is in such good spirit!
We hope for fast healing!
