The number one questions we’ve been asked since announcing the move into The Dog Lodge is “isn’t that going to be loud!?” 😂
The honest answer is - if we’re doing our job properly, no, it won’t be loud at all!
*disclaimer - the loud one at the end is our dog 🤦🏻♀️ and she’s the loudest of the bunch whether at The Dog Lodge or not! 🫠*
The true heart of what we do is to have dogs relaxed, comfortable and played out for as much of the day as we can, so that their rooms are their own, safe, quiet resting place between play sessions! This often means that when pups are in their rooms, the building is quiet! 🥰
Of course there’s always the initial excitement and barking when we first get in there to get a playtime session going, but for the most part, we are confident the noise level won’t be a problem! 🐾 ♥️
What’s happening!?

Yes - We will be LIVING on site! *more pictures in the comments!* The old groom shop and The old office are being converted into our new home and we will be moving in February 1st! We’re excited to be that much closer to work, to the pups we love and care for, and to be able to continue to be a “work from home” family and keep our boys close - we truly feel this move is just going to add to the “second family” type care we aim to offer here to our furry clients. Snow Update!
Our family had a BIG day yesterday trying to get ahead of all the snow we got over the weekend - and we were about 40% finished!
And then we woke up this morning to MORE snow.
Unfortunately this means our facility will be functioning at a limited capacity until we get snow cleared OR it melts - whichever comes first!
Please text us to inquire about availability between now and Monday as this will be assessed daily!
For those who are interested, some of the things we take into consideration to determine capacity is:
• the number of outdoor runs dogs can access - right now we can only have about 6 dog doors open out of 23 possible rooms because the snow has built up 6 inches in those areas! We want pups to be able to go out as often as is needed so we only book rooms that are accessible!
• outdoor play space! Sometimes even if their individual outside space is limited but we have lots of outdoor play space, we can accommodate more. Right now our outdoor play space is under 50% accessible and safe for dogs
• number of dogs, socialization of said dogs, and amount of indoor play space! We take pride in knowing what pups can play & socialize, what pups need their personal space and the amount of time it takes to adequately care for and love on each pup! we will only booking up our facility to a capacity that gives your pup exactly what it needs!
We thank you for understanding and bearing with us as we work tirelessly to get back to functioning at 100%
