This girl was rescued after she was found as a stray with her front leg severely infected from a gun shot wound. She went in to be seen by a vet and had no option but to have her front leg amputated. Throughout this journey she had no family or home of her own… she is still waiting to find someone to love her just the way she is !!! It’s always bitter sweet saying goodbye to our momma dogs 🩷 They are always the sweetest most loving ones. They work so hard to take the best care of their littles while in our care. They raise them, watch them go one by one until it’s their turn to find their forever family. Happy life Ruby 🏡🥰

We have worked endlessly to get a space like this for all the dogs who find us along their journey & become a KCS resident. We want this space to be a positive stage in their life as most of us know they end up here after some very hard times. They are showerd with love, have an amazing space to spend their days outdoors with their resident friends who become family and learn to trust what’s next is only going to be better. We promise each dog we will try our very hardest to find the person/family who will love them as much as we do.

This week has been a whirlwind as we made the big move to Crossfield! 🏡 With long days and countless helping hands, we’re thrilled to share that the transition has been a success. 🎉 We’re immensely grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to bring even more love and support to the community of Crossfield.
