🐾 Adoption Event – Sunday, August 2! 🐾

Looking to add a furry family member to your home? Come meet some of our amazing adoptable dogs this Sunday, August 2, from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at KCS Animal Rescue Society in Crossfield!

Our team will be there to introduce you to some wonderful pups who are looking for their forever families. Whether you’re ready to adopt or just want to stop by and meet the dogs, we’d love to see you!

Meet Baymax 🤍

One of our newest intakes, Baymax is the sweetest big boy—his name couldn’t suit him better!

He’s a young adult with the gentlest nature and has already stolen our hearts. While he’s not quite ready for adoption as we’re still getting to know him, we just had to share this handsome guy with you.

Baymax is incredibly sweet, calm, and gentle, and we have no doubt he’s going to make an amazing companion for one very lucky family when the time comes.

Our Annual Charity Golf Tournament will take place on September 18th, 2026 at Collicutt Siding Golf Club !

This year we are supporting the KCS Animal Rescue Society so come on down and help us raise funds for this amazing community organization! You don't have to be a chamber member or a business to attend, all are welcome!

Registration takes place through the Chamber and is $150/Golfer until August 31st and then $170/Golfer from September 1st. Registration includes a hot dog lunch, a drink ticket, and a steak dinner following a 18 hole shotgun tournament with power cart.

👑 Meet Princess! 👑

Princess is a beautiful 2-year-old petite shepherd mix looking for her forever home! 🐾

This girl is high energy, incredibly smart, and ready for adventure. She knows her basic commands and even has a pretty impressive party trick… she can army crawl! (Seriously, how fun is that? 😍)

Princess absolutely loves other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion to keep up with her playful energy. We did a cat test, but Princess approached with a little too much enthusiasm, so a cat-free home or a very experienced cat owner would likely be the best fit.

This smart, active girl would excel in an active home that can provide her with exercise, training, and plenty of opportunities to use her brain. She’s eager to learn and will make a wonderful adventure buddy!

🐾 WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP 🐾

This weekend, we have 8 precious souls coming into rescue. ❤️

We are so excited to welcome them and give them the care, safety, and love they deserve — but we also need to be honest… we are incredibly tight on funds right now.

Taking in 8 dogs at once is a huge financial undertaking. Before they even have a chance to find their forever homes, they may need veterinary appointments, vaccinations, medications, spay/neuter surgeries, food, supplies, and more.

We never want finances to be the reason we say no to a dog in need, but the reality is that rescue is expensive — and right now, we really need our village to help us. ❤️

If you are able to make a monetary donation, even $5, $10, or $20, it would mean so much to us and help us provide for these 8 deserving dogs.

🐾 Meet Peanut! 🥜💛

🐶 Possibly a Collie mix
🎂 Approx. 2 years old

Peanut is a super sweet, friendly little guy who loves everyone he meets—and he’s great with other dogs too! 🐶🐶 He doesn’t seem to mind cats, either. 🐱

This boy is full of fun and personality! Peanut runs like a bunny 🐰, absolutely loves playing fetch, and enjoys hanging out and playing with all his dog friends. He would love an active family who wants a playful, affectionate buddy to join in on their adventures.

And Peanut has a very special superpower… 🦸‍♂️

✨ He can climb a 4.5-foot fence. ✨

So his future family will need to be prepared for his impressive athletic abilities and make sure he has a secure setup. 😅

He knows the human couch is off-limits, so you’ll often find him happily testing out every dog bed in the house.
