We will have Edesse Descoteaux for coaching, at the end of April and part of May, for the ones who would like to keep riding and have lessons while I'm gone on maternity leave. ✨️

Edesse is a very knowledgeable barrel racing coach. She's a professional rodeo athlete and horse trainer ! 🐴

The availabilities are :
April 23rd
April 26 - 27th TBD
April 28-29-30

May 1st to 8th
May 21st to 31st.

✨️ Free Lesson ✨️

I'm looking for 3 individuals available on April 6th for a free, unmounted lesson on how to saddle a horse with a western saddle. This lesson is part of my national coach certification program and will be recorded for professional evaluation.

The lesson will last approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

You must be OK with:

✅️ Signing a waiver and recording acceptance
✅️ Wearing a helmet
✅️ Appearing on video strictly for professional evaluation (the video will not be public)
✅️ Being comfortable around horses
✅️ Being physically able to lift up to 50 pounds

Now, this is something to be really excited about ! 🤩

The first Matter's equine skijoring clinic and one of the only events of this kind in Canada ! 🇨🇦 In this camp, we will see together the introduction of the sport and how to train your horse to become a ski joering champion. This is perfect for riders starting ski joring but also for the experienced athlete who would like to improve their performance. 🐎⛷️

The clinician for the day is Sophie Couture. 2023 skijor canada sprint and relay champion and 2024 relay reserve champion and sprint finalist. Sophie will share all the information you need for a successful ski joring experience. ❄️

I'm very sad to share this, and I'm sure I'm going to make a few little girls cry about this sad news... 😔 This morning, we had to say the hardest goodbye to Earl. After a few years of battles with navicular diseases, we decided to make an end to this pain. Earl was extremely loved by all the little girls at the farm. Most students started to ride on Earl and learned so much from him. He was the horse all the summer camp girls would fight over to ride him as he was such a good boy ! He's the first lesson horse I bought for the program, and he did so much for me and all the students. I will always be grateful for every ride and all the time he gave us. My lesson horses are so much more than lesson horses. They are my friend and my family, and I just want the best for them. We retired Earl last spring, and I was keeping him more for me than for him at the end. I just wasn't ready to let him go, but in reality, we are never truly ready !

Goodbye, my old friend, I love you so much, and thank you for everything 💗

We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Kessie and Grace to our team! 👑 💕

Kessie has been captivated by Miss Gracie ever since their first ride together at summer camp. The bond they’ve formed is truly special, and it’s been amazing to see how well they connect both in and out of the arena. Together, they make a dynamic duo, and we can already see the potential for great things ahead. 🧡

Kessie’s biggest dream is to become a successful barrel racer, and she’s putting in the time and effort to turn that dream into a reality. From perfecting her riding skills to expanding her knowledge about horse care and training, Kessie is dedicated, determined, and passionate. Her love for horses shines through in everything she does, and her commitment to improving herself and building a strong partnership with Grace is inspiring to everyone around her. 💖
