Little bit of a late post…
The last day of RMSJ Rocky Miunt Classice III was a mixture of learning and success for the Kaliber Equine Services team.

Violet had more amazing rides on Sniggle in the .60m class and mini Prix, placing 7th in both classes! This team made so much progress over the week.

Molly Hamilton and Dry Ice had an 8 fault round in the 1.0m mini prix to finish 17 out of 26. This team had a great week of success and lots of learning.

Tayla Yuen didn’t show due to not feeling g her best after her unplanned dismount on sat. Her and purple rain also had a week of success and lots of learning!

Tyne Alliban and Kienika had some more learning moments in the 1.15m mini Prix. Glad to see this team getting back on track.

Thank you to the team behind our team…Steve Hanson our awesome farrier, Sarah Pedersen our amazing vet, Murray McGonigle our chiropractor, Jenna Stovall our body worker and Rylee Smolarchuk for amazing photos! Also thank you to Tabitha Yuen and Lark Hamilton for all you do to help keep our team on track! It takes a village, but it makes for a fun time and wonderful memories!

Very proud of Tyne Alliban. Tonight she stepped out of her element and showed a saddlebred mare I have in training in the English country pleasure jr rider class at the Alberta Charity Horse show. She has only rode this mare a handful of times and tonight was her third time in a cut back saddle!

Today was clear round day for the jumpers. Tayla Yuen had a good round in the .85m.
Tyne had a good round with Kienika in the .90m. She didn’t quite have enough leg to fence 8, resulting in a rail.
Ella had a nice fault free round in the 1.0m with Tyne Alliban.

Tomorrow is the start of competition for us. Belle has her first Hunter round, and the jumpers will all have one class. We are ready!

What an incredible way to end the Jump Start show presented by Pacific Equine Sport.

Stacy Shantz had great rides, even with the pigeons flying up and spooking Cutter, to win both the .60m classes. Then to top it off she was Champion of the open .60m division and reserve champion of the short/long stirrup .60m division. So incredibly proud of Stacy and how far she has come in such a short time.

Kaylee Shantz dropped down to then.60m to work on a few of the prior days learning experiences, and had success. I’m also so proud of this team and the learning and progress that has happens this week.

Tyne Alliban had a wonderfully smooth ride on Fashion show, but finished out of the ribbons. We didn’t push for the speed of the class, as this fancy pony is destined for the hunters.

Tayla Yuen had a great 4 fault round in the .80m class. I’m so excited about the future of this team. They have had a great first show with only a month together.

Tyne and Kienika BF were the first draw in the 1.0m $1000 jumper classic, laying down a double clear ride finishing in a great time. Waiting out the suspense of holding onto first place throughout all the riders was rather exciting. They managed to pull it off and held on for the win! I’m so excited for the future of this team.

Stormy Spirited jumped the faster 8 fault round of the Jak Equipment $1200 classic to finish 7th, in a tough field of horses. This mare jumped great all week and has come so far in the two years that Tyne has been working with her.

Thanks to Pacific Equine Sport for hosting such wonderful shows in such a great venue.
Huge thanks to Rylee Smolarchuk for the incredible pictures.
To the rest of the team that helps keep our horses feeling their best, thank you for all you do, Sarah Pedersen, Steve Hanson, and Murray McGonigle.

Day 3 of the Pacific Equine Sport Jump Start show was amazing.
The morning started with Tyne Alliban getting Stacy Shantz’s autograph.

Stacy had a great 3rd place rode in her one .60m class and an unfortunate rail in the second one.

Kaylee Shantz had some learning and building moments in the .70m classes. Day 4 will be better.

Tyne had two great rides with Fashion show in the .70m classes, placing 2nd and 4th. This pony is really coming along.

Tayla Yuen had two wonderful rounds in the .80m classes placing 6th in one. Love how this team is coming together in such a short time.

Tyne rocked both of the 1.0m classes on Kienika BF, having a double clear round in the open and a rail in the second for a 3rd place. They were also the 1.0m open division champions and the 1.0m jr/am division champions. So proud of this team and their future.

Tyne and Stormy Spirted had a great 8 daily round to place 6th in the 1.10m jr/am class. They also took in the 4 bar competition, but were unfortunately eliminated after the first round.

So proud of the who Kaliber team. Bring on day 4!

Rylee Smolarchuk I can’t thank you enough for all the wonderful pictures of my team.

Day two of the Pacific Equine Sport Jump Start show was yet again another successful day for the Kaliber team.…

Tyne Alliban had a great 8 fault round on Stormy Spirited in the 7yr old young horse developing class.

Kienika BF and Tyne had a clear round in her futures class and a clear jump off.

Stacy Shantz rocked the .60m classes with a 3rd and 4th place finish!!

Kaylee Shantz had a few bumps in the road but managed to smooth things out for a great 3rd round, and good learning experiences! Tomorrow is going to be great for them!

Tyne had fabulous rounds on Fashion show in the .70m. This pony has really progressed from yesterday, and had a 4th pace finish in one of her classes. So far a great first show for her. Excited to see how the rounds go tomorrow!

Tayla Yuen also had great rounds on Purple Raine in the .80m classes. So proud of how this team is doing in a very short time together.

Kienika BF had two clear round in the 1.0m Power and Speed classes to finish 2nd in both of them!

Stormy Spirited had a clear round in the power portion of the power and speed class, and had an unfortunate rail in the speed portion to place second in the 1.10m jr/am class.

Very excited for tomorrow!!
Thank you Rylee Smolarchuk for amazing pictures!

Day one of the Jump Start show presented by Pacific Equine Sport was a great start of our Kaliber team.

Tyne Alliban and Stormy Spirited started the morning in the 7 yr old young horse developing class with a good round on a very fresh horse.

Kienika BF and Tyne did the new futures training round 1.0m-1.10m. With the last rail coming down.

Tayla Yuen had great rounds with her new horse Purple Raine in the .70m classes, having two clear rounds. Moving up to the .80m tomorrow! Well done!

Tyne debuted a new pony, Fashion Show, who for her first show had very good learning experiences in the ring. Excited to see her progress tomorrow.

The 1.0m classes were successful with a 2nd place for Tyne and Kienika in the jr/am class, and not in the placings for the open class. Well done tyne, especially after a very discouraging warmup.

Last but not least was Tyne and Stormy Spirited in the 1.10 jr/am class with a few rails, but good enough for a 6th place finish.

Excited for tomorrow, as Stacy Shantz and Kaylee Shantz, join us.

Thanks as always to Rylee Smolarchuk for the awesome photos.

This afternoon we take a moment to spotlight an exceptional athlete, Tyne Alliban, with top recognition presented in part by Wachter Horses, The 2022 Ponoka Indoor Series High Point Rider Award. What a terrific year for this young equestrian who is well on her way to great things in this discipline and many others. Well done, Tyne!

The final day of the Winter Welcome hosted by Pacific Equine Sport sure did not disappoint.
Tyne Alliban and Kienika BF had a double clear round in the Lavender eight .90m jumper classic to win it! They then came back with another double clear round to finish third in the 1.0m Vencedora jumper classic. So proud of this team and how far this mare has come in just two shows. Super excited for their future!

Stormy Spirited had a great 4 fault round in the 1.10m Jak Equipment jumper classic and finished out of the ribbons. I’m also so proud of the work Tyne has put into this mare and the progress she has made.

The whole show was a great success with Tyne winning the regional young horse 6 yr old developing final with Stormy Spirited. Had a championship with Kienika BF in the open 1.0m jumper division and a reserve championship in the jr/am 1.0m division, and great placings in the classics.

Thank you to Pacific Equine Sport for hosting such wonderful shows in such a great facility and great competitors.
Huge shout out to the team of people who help keep our horses at their best, Steve Hanson, Murray McGonigle, and Sarah Pedersen. We couldn’t do it without your help!
Huge thank you to Rylee Smolarchukfor capturing such wonderful memories
Looking forward to the start of the season in Feb
