Hello everyone!

I am writing today, to inform everyone of temporary closure.

Unfortunately there has been too much going on personal-side, and I need to focus on these matters for now.

I will hopefully return. 🙏💗💜

I love you all. Ty for being a big part of my everyday world and for trusting me with your precious fluffy ones. I truly adore them. This wasn't expected. And I hope really in the future it is more stable to be able to continue.

Attention Please! 📣

I've made the decision to take April off!

Any already scheduled visits will continue and be honored, but unfortunately, I will not be booking any other visits for April.

This is due to a few reasons.
1. I honestly just need a break! 🩷
2. The weather is incredibly mucky, and I'd like to get the yards cleaned up properly and ready for the warm weather. 😎
3. My availability was minimal this month anyways due to my work schedule. 🤷‍♀️
4. Ruby is in obedience classes and we need to focus on her during this prime learning age! 🐶

Thank you for your patience, I've been trying to figure this month out for a while and this is what I think is best. So I will see you in May - and I'll post that availability late April.

If you require certain dates in May or later that you already know about, please reach out!

Usually if I try to get them all together it's a bunch of blurs. 😅 (there may have been treats involved).

Hey !

Please be aware, that Ruby is approaching the time where she might go into her first heat. I'm told this generally happens between 6-12 months for golden retrievers. This means basically anytime between February 18 - August 18 in Ruby's case.

We have elected not to spay prior to her first heat, as a large breed dog, she gains benefits from the hormones for a number of reasons. After her first heat, she will be scheduled for her spay.

As an important notice, I will not be able to have dogs during her heat. I would advise that if plans are very important and you cannot risk your dog care being cancelled, please look into an alternative option that is solid. I would hate someone to have to figure out plans at the last minute, I know how hectic that can be! If you're flexible and don't mind a cancelled visit or stay, please go ahead and continue to book. I can also offer some alternative recommendations with reputable sitters and dog walkers if you need.

I will keep you all updated. We love our precious girl, we want her to grow as healthily as possible. 🥰❤️🐾

Ruby needed a bath already because, well.... crazy dogs and lots of mud and other things lol.

It's not even lunch and I think they're all ready for a nap, me included. 🤣

Brrrr it's getting colder. Mr Artoo is ready to go with his thick double coat. 😍

Kira gets a sweater and a jacket (lol!) She couldn't miss out on a walk today! Kira is used to my weird outfits for her. 🤣 Don't want my sweet girl getting too chilly.

Ruby gets a fleece sweater. 🥹 She loved carrying some pine cones she found along the way!

Hey everyone!! I just wanted to post a quick update.

I've been purposely laying low while our little Ruby has had some time with us to grow and get her vaccines. I wanted to make sure she was safe and able to adjust to her new home. She is close to 15 weeks (3.5 months) now and is doing so well. We are so in love with her and she is sweetest little pup. She's had a blast with repeat clients, friends, family, as well as attending another dog sitter (Bark & Bella, thank you!). All of this has helped with her socialization and her continued growth to understand this big beautiful world. She has also been learning the basics with leash training, commands, and general rules and manners. Although you have probably seen less of me recently, I am as dedicated as ever!

December 1st marks 6 months in business. ☺️
I've been reflecting on these past months on how I want this little business to grow and how best to continue to offer in home care for your dogs. I feel so thankful for those who have trusted me and provided such kind feedback, and especially those who have brought their beloved pets back time and again so we can have that trusted bond and relationship together. I'd like to share some of my ideas.

Starting December 1st, I will offer a discounted rate for more than one dog coming from the same home. Instead of $35/dog per night, I will reduce my price to $30/dog per night for 2-3 dogs from the same home. Daycare prices will remain at $20/dog per day. My maximum capacity is 5 dogs under my care, so I can only take a maximum of 3 dogs from other homes, since I have 2 of my own.

I also posted some "inclement weather" info in the FAQ section, so please have a look. I want to be as transparent as possible. If you have boots and coats/sweaters/jackets for your pet, this will help in my determination on whether to walk or not during unfavorable weather. So please don't forget to send those if you have them.

I am actively looking for dog crates on sale or in great used condition on Marketplace for my clients who's dogs stay in crates overnight. I recognize it's probably a pain to have to bring your own crate back and forth. I will have strict hygiene with these crates and will ensure they are cleaned thoroughly between dogs and will keep them in pristine condition so you know your pet has the best place to sleep. I keep any crated dogs with me in my own bedroom overnight and they are never alone, I assure you. 🩷🩵

Finally, I want to offer an incentive for leaving a review on my page. I have had so many privately communicated kind words and thanks for the experiences here. But I continue to have 0 reviews! I don't want to ask anyone personally to leave a review, because I believe that's a choice someone should feel either they want to or don't want to. So anyways, if you leave a review on my page, you can have either a free daycare day or free overnight stay for 1 night! :) I'm a person who definitely reads reviews and it helps me decide on products and services. So please consider this, but also enjoy the nice incentive as well.
