✨ ️*FAQ section and Info* ✨️
**coming soon I will provide crates here so you don't have to lug your own crate back and forth for your dog - stay tuned!**
🦴*Inclement Weather*
Generally, we are outside lots and play in our back yard, local trails and parks. Occasionally, I will forego walks due to weather conditions. I'm hesitant to make a generalized statement on when this would happen. But if I feel the weather may result in harm to your dog or myself, I may opt for indoor activities to provide mental and physical stimulation. These weather conditions may include but are not limited to: extreme heat or cold, poor air quality, heavy rain or hail. Especially with temperature, it is somewhat breed dependent and reflective of individual traits of the dog (I.e. bradycephaly, age, coat, behaviour, etc). If you're not sure please feel free to ask.
🦴*What items should I send?*
Food, leash and collar, harness (if applicable), medications (if applicable) any comfort items (blanket, toy, etc), crate for sleeping if this is what your dog is accustomed to, for colder months please provide coats/sweaters/dog booties when necessary (I have some extras but not many sizes)
I have many dog bowls, beds, treats, toys, extra harnesses and leashes, brushes, nail trimmers, etc.
🦴*How and when do I pay?*
I accept cash or etransfer ([email protected]). Payment should be made the day of pick-up. I'll send you a reminder if you forget and a few days have passed.
🦴*What are your hours? Is there a standard pick-up or drop-off time?*
I'm very flexible and accommodating, just message to arrange these times. I don't have any set hours or standard pick-up/drop-off times.
🦴*Accidents happen* I pride myself in being very transparent with all the details, good or not so good. If your dog becomes ill or injured, or escapes, or if I have any concerns, I will message you immediately. We can determine what you think is best, whether that means I keep them and observe while keeping you updated, whether you think they need a vet visit etc. I have definitely had instances where pets have had all of these things. I unfortunately have had dogs who have vomited, developed loose stools, cut themselves, and have gotten loose out of my yard. I make mistakes. Dogs aren't immune to injury or illness. These things do happen and I want that to be normal and understood. I would never ever hide anything. Some dogs play hard here, and while they absolutely are having so much fun, sometimes it can be more than what they are used to or sometimes something unanticipated happens. I cannot guarantee perfection. What I can guarantee is your dog will be loved and cared for like a family member just like at home. I have always offered this. I do provide first aid if needed and am certified to perform CPR if the worst is to happen. I just really think that's important to understand. 🩵🩷
