TOOLS & TRAINING
We have been getting a lot of questions and comments about using tools to train dogs so we figured let’s answer some!
“I don’t want balanced training to alter my dogs personality/state of mind/happiness”
Great! Neither do we. Ecollars allow us to communicate with our dogs using touch - just like a leash does. They allow us to tell our dog “hey good job!” while also being able to say “oops, try again”.
“Will my dog hate their ecollar?”
Nope, not if you condition properly with the help of a trainer. Our personal dogs all get amped when they see their collars because they know it leads to food, fun & freedom.
“Will I have to use it forever? Will I have to train forever?”
This one is a little tricky, because it could go either way. If you and your dog put the work in, do the reps, then you will likely be able to remove the collar BUT if you want back up safety off leash, keep the collar on even if you don’t use it.
