Oh boy oh boy ⛄️ more snow to play in!

I wanted to share my colouring pages for the little ones at home - copies are also available now at Global Pet Foods PEI. We had a hint that a ❄️ storm was coming, and with the chance of no school, this provides something creative to do.

Be sure you have your storm supplies ready, and be prepared for a snow day.

I have no thumbs 👍 but I may attempt to colour with my mouth 🤗

Captain K9 be safe out there

🔄⚡️SERVICE UPDATE (3:30 PM): Rotational Power Outages to take Effect

The City of Summerside is advising residents that, due to the ongoing damage to the Maritime Electric Sherbrooke Substation, we will be turning off circuits across the city on a rotational basis to help manage power loads.

This process will begin at approximately 5:00 PM this evening, meaning that if your power goes out, it will remain off for approximately two hours before being restored, following the scheduled rotation. This will continue until approximately 10:00 PM this evening.

Rotational power outages will resume on Wednesday, February 12th, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM as efforts continue to stabilize the system.

Due to the complexity of electrical reliability and multiple unknown factors, we are unable to provide a set schedule for the rotations at this time.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to restore stability. Further updates will be provided as needed.

We will be experiencing a high demand for electricity on our system tonight and tomorrow morning. Reducing energy consumption where possible during times of high demand, especially during the hours of 4 to 8 p.m. and 6 to 10 a.m., can help reduce the load on our system. Our Contact Centre will remain open tonight, if you need us call 1-800-670-1012. Today is World Cancer Day, a reminder of how important early detection is—not just for us, but for our pets too.

Regular wellness visits, combined with screenings and diagnostics, help us catch potential issues early, improving treatment outcome.

Keep an eye out for symptoms like lumps, unusual weight loss, changes in appetite, or unexplained lethargy.

If you notice anything concerning, don’t wait—schedule a visit with us right away. Early care can make all the difference. 💙

I was village raised in New Brunswick before my deployment to Charlottetown Police Services.

I had a:
Full time home
3 part time Village volunteers who took me for sleepovers, hockey games, adventures with their children (I even went on a fishing boat!)

It is a great way to be involved to help give puppies the best start possible! ❤️

Captain K9 🦮

📢 call out!

Canine Therapy Atl is seeking volunteers for our Village Raiser team to assist in raising a puppy that will become a potential Service Dog or Facility Dog for waiting Veterans and First Responders.

We are looking for:
✅loving homes committed to helping raise a puppy for 6 months to 12 months of age prior to its next stage of training.

✅Part time helpers such as walkers, vacation coverage, special outings for exposure (our pups and deployed dogs do not go to Kennels due to their roles)

✅Able to attend in person training sessions, complete weekly homework provided training with Trainers & Coaches.

✅Located in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island

Please email us for an application and help CTFFR continue our mission to provide our services to those who dutifully serve us.
