Abegweit Animal Hospital is expanding and we are looking to add a part time or full time, permanent receptionist/pharmacy attendant to our team. We are a fast paced, small animal veterinary practice who provides service for the greater Charlottetown area and beyond. We provide clients with options for in-house and referral laboratory procedures, digital whole body and dental radiology, ultrasonography, surgical, medical and preventative services/procedures and much more.

As a receptionist/Pharmacy Attendant, duties would include scheduling appointments, maintaining and completing accurate patient medical documents, filling and preparing prescriptions, liaising between clients and doctors, inputting charges and taking payment, maintaining a clean and organized working environment as well as providing client education. Veterinary clinic experience is an asset but not a requirement for this job.

Miss Maizie was in for splint bandage changes weekly and our staff were hard at work creating art with her bandages. We are going to do a little contest-please comment what is your favourite bandage! The staff member who created the favourite bandage will receive a surprise treat!
A big shoutout to the wonderfully patient and adorable Maizie who has captured all of our hearts and has looked fabulous every week!

Dr. Profit was so lucky to do a pregnancy ultrasound on Sunstone Sweet Virginia. This is a video of one of her puppies' heart fluttering away inside of her. SunStone Standards - Red CKC Standard Poodles

Louie was in for his vaccines and a nail trim. He still to this day doesn't realize that our technicians trimmed his nails. The slow feeding matt is such a positive distraction for nail trims/vaccines etc. We use this as much as possible at our clinic.

Peggy's ultrasound

Dr. Profit Had a blast looking at an ultrasound of Peggy's two puppies. Dr. Profit truly enjoys doing all kinds of ultrasounds. This ultrasound video shows the heartbeat of one of the puppies, they are pretty active in there. See the picture of the parents in the comments. We can't wait to meet these two!
