9-month-old Lady came for her second private today. She is a soft-landing girl who is working on some Basic Manners as she had not had any previous training. She had been to the groomers since we first met. She looked beautiful today! Her coat was so softl and nails are looking good too!🐾😊

Good day to briefly open windows. Expose our pups and dogs to more outside noises. Hearing these various sounds is part of socialization.

This is a good example of clear body language that was missed. An exposed belly isn’t always an invite for attention. Observe your dog’s body language and get to know them. You can then advocate for them appropriately in social situations.

Posh struggles to have any training or fun end when she is off leash. She does not want to just get in the vehicle. She would do all kinds of avoidance behaviours which could be frustrating at times. I used to just leash up early but wanted to progress beyond this. I have found asking her to kennel and then just sitting on the edge of the vehicle waiting that she is getting in faster all the time. Once she does get in she gets praise and some high value rewards. Of course during this time Frankie is receiving praise and rewards as she gets in every time. 😊🐾. Over time I expect she will create a habit of hopping in as soon as she is asked. I did not want to form a habit of avoidance.

Just playing around.

Grover is in the arena for the first time. He is coming for some basic Manners Training. His response to name with minor distractions was super. He is keen to learn. He has not had any training. Just think how he would flourish in a loving committed home 😊🐾❤️

Friend just sent me this from her phone Memories. At almost 12 Blossom competed and won her division at a Regional Agility Competition and went on to compete at Nationals. She went on to Rainbow 🌈 Bridge in her 14th year.

Winnie was a soft landing dog who came for privates as well as some group classes. She was a pretty worried girl when she first started training and living with her new guardians. So great to see her enjoying the snow.
