Let’s Get Ready to Show! Join us on May 24, 25, & 26th for a weekend filled with show preparation. Riders can attend one day, or all three!

Friday May 24th, Cathy will be giving a free lecture to answer all of your questions about showing, expectations as a rider and membership requirements for the different types of shows.

Saturday May 25th will be a one-day mounted clinic where Cathy will school riders around the show ring. There will be both Hunter and Jumper courses. Talk to your coach about if this clinic is right for you. Cost is $115+HST.

Sunday May 26th will be a Schooling Show where you can take what you have learned and apply it to the first show of the season!

We’re hiring! We are looking for someone to join our Weekend Barn Staff.

Horse experience is a bonus, but if you've got a love for horses, and a willingness to learn and work hard then you will fit right in.

🐴6:30am - 3:00pm
🐴Saturday - Sunday plus Statutory holidays
🐴Walking horses from the barn to the paddocks and back.
🐴Mucking out stalls and pushing loaded wheelbarrows
🐴Lifting bales of hay, bags of grain, pails of water, and other heavy items
🐴Must be able to lift heavy objects and be on your feet all day.

🚨Important Information for those riding in the clinic this weekend: October 28-29th 🚨

We are so excited to host one of Canada's top show-jumping coaches, Marni von Schalburg this weekend!

A few things to note as you’re getting ready for the clinic:

✅Please make sure your horses are properly prepared and do not give them Friday off.
✅Make sure your horse is spotless, and your tack is clean
✅Ensure you are wearing suitable attire. Shirt tucked in, neat vest, and belt. Please no loose upper-body clothing or sweaters.
✅Lunging will be allowed in the middle of the outdoor sand ring as that is the dryest spot
✅The ring will be set and prepared for Marni’s clinic this afternoon.
✅Marni will have lessons from 3:30 until 6:00pm on Friday. The ring will be available to ride your horses before or after her lessons.
✅Please do not move or displace any jumps, reminder that there shouldn’t be any unsupervised jumping.
✅The indoor ring will be available to ride anytime before 8:45am on Saturday morning for the Morning Clinic Groups to ride your horses if the extra prep is necessary.
✅Afternoon groups should ride during the lunch break (12:00-1:00) if the extra ride/preparation is needed.
✅The clinic will end on Saturday around 5ish. We will post Sunday's time and availability later.

🎃Lastly, this is Halloween weekend and some of you will be participating in Halloween events on Friday and Saturday. Please don’t overextend your partying because you need to be in fine form for your clinic the following day to absorb all the wonderful information that you will get from this international lead coach.
