Camp activities include; daily hikes for active dogs, walks for less active dogs, excursions, interactive play time, games, brushing, quiet time, and all the cuddles your pup would like. Campers will only be in their suites during rest periods, meals and overnight. This is what we do - we are dedicated to the care and safety of your dog(s). Camp Directors are husband and wife team, Julie Davidson and Colin Page. In 2000, Julie opened A Walk in the Park Pet Care in North Vancouver. With Colinβs support A Walk in the Park became a highly regarded and recommended, multi award winning, pet care service. In 2018, Julie and Colin decided it was time to make a long time dream come true, pass the torch, and begin a new adventure on Vancouver Island. Camp Yellow Dog is the realization of that dream. In her spare time Julie enjoys photography and creates digital art canvases from her photos: http://www.yellowdogdesigns.ca/

UPDATE: Iβve been informed that Dottie is a 4H cow and not to be interacted with. My apologies to Amy, who is raising her. As anyone who knows me knows, I love all animals. I never meant to cause an issue.
This is our neighbourβs cow. I had been calling her Daisy, but have since found out her name is Dottie. This is our (almost) daily routine π

This little muppet is Shanti, our newest Camper. Shanti is a nine month old labradoodle whose Mom is bringing her all the way from Nanaimo for daycamp. Now thatβs dedication! β£
β£
During her Assessment Visit Shanti really hit it off with Meadow who is a wonderful mentor. β£
β£
We also introduced Shanti to our younger cat, Gertie. Gertie loves dogs and is very calm around them. β£
β£
Not many puppies have the opportunity to meet cats other than outdoors where itβs likely theyβll want to chase them, so a positive introduction to cats is a bonus perk weβre able to offer...all thanks to Gert! β£
The snow has arrived at Camp Yellow Dog. Yippee!!!!!
