Meet Bruce. The newest addition to our rabbitry. ❤️

We suddenly and unexpectedly lost Rocky on New Year’s Eve and I was devastated. He started off such a pain in the butt😆 But he quickly grew out of that stinker stage and we totally bonded. He can’t be ‘replaced’ but when I saw this sweet little guy I knew he’d fit right in over here. Welcome home, Bruce. ❤️

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to push pause on my breeding program after this current litter heads home. (There is a very small chance we could have one more litter, I paired Juniper and Hunny, but I’m 90% sure Hunny is no longer able to breed. This pairing was more of a test just to confirm that.)
I’m not sure if this will be a pause for a few months, or if this will be the end of breeding for us. What I do know is life is busy right now, and these little bunnies take a lot of time and energy to raise the way I want to raise them. So, we’re going to take a step back, and see what we decide and how we’re feeling in a few months time. If I decide after that time that bunny breeding is no longer for us, I may be looking for homes for a couple of my bunnies, although most we’ve grown attached to and will be staying here regardless.
I want to sincerely thank everyone who has given our bunnies amazing homes over the last couple of years. Placing bunnies in loving homes has been so rewarding. ❤️ Even if we ultimately decide not to continue breeding I’ll keep this Instagram open so our bunny families can message me if they have any questions for me.

Mabel, Rocky, and Juniper - and a rabbitry update 🤗

The votes are in but are split 50/50 so we’re going to stick with our waitlist system for now and any bunnies available after we’ve worked through our waitlist will be posted for sale. Our waitlist is back open, we should have a few bunnies available for the end of December after working through our current waitlist.

And an update for those currently on my list, I know you’ve been waiting awhile. - I have 7 people still on my waitlist at the moment (not including the few who are waiting for spring), I have 3 bunnies from Juniper who will be ready to go early December, and Mabel had a litter of 7 (including one I may keep here) only a few weeks behind, ready to go December 23rd so everyone on my waitlist as of today should have the opportunity to reserve a bunny by early December if they choose. If you’re on my waitlist and have any questions, are wondering where you fall in line, or would like to be removed from my waitlist feel free to reach out.

While I’m back at it and sharing I might as well share today’s photos of Angel Cake’s babes who are about to head to their forever families. Our first litter since last spring and we’ve been having so much fun with them. ❤️

Some fun new colours popped up for us with this litter too! We’ll definitely repeat the Angel Cake/Rocky pairing we got Smoke Pearl, Squirrel, and Chinchilla colouring all in this litter, all first time over here which was really exciting for me! 🤗

Okay so these are Rosie’s two cuties who we’ve been lovingly calling Fred and Wilma😆🥰
if you’re on my waitlist you may hear from me shortly about them, and if you’re on my waitlist and they get snagged before I get to your spot don’t worry! Juniper had 3 adorable babies who will be available in only two weeks. But this brings up a question I have for you. Im trying to decide if going forward I should stick to a waitlist or simply post bunnies first come, first serve. What would you prefer? Waitlist or first come first serve?
