Playing nurse-maid to my little French Bulldog Archie who had a major spinal surgery less than a week ago. Round-the-clock care, so I sit and stitch.

Block 5 of Welcome Home In Spring all appliquéd. Some embellishments will go on after quilting.

I realized that the windows were kinda wonky and that was 40 pieces in, so I did not want to realign everything. Instead I add-libbed a doghouse to detract from the asymmetry! lol

Today some hand-work to prepare a cute quilt for some custom work. Love the Shabby Fabrics patterns.

Shelly made this beautiful quilt for her son’s wedding. There are a variety of messages written by wedding guests and personally embroidered blocks. A favourite one of mine to quilt and an honour to be given the opportunity to quilt such a precious piece.
