We also worked on loose leash walking skills, recall and settling around distractions. Of course we always encourage sniffing, exploring, digging & meeting those puppy needs!

Enjoying a stress-free outing with your dog has to be one of the best feelings - and there's nothing I love more than helping people achieve that.
Ollie had the best time during our session the other day playing in the leaves, sniffing, exploring, and noticing other dogs and people reaction free. He surprised his mom with how well he did, and this didn't seem possible a few weeks ago.
Super proud of this team and excited to see them thrive! 🤎

Our Story

Shelby's Dog Boarding is dedicated to providing the utmost amount of care and safety for your dog, while treating them like a part of the family. Located near beautiful White Rock beach, your dog will have a completely personalized stay including daily exercise, mental stimulation, play time, and plenty of rest & relaxation. Maintaining a calm and positive environment is incredibly important, and for this reason space is limited.

Owner and operator Shelby Martin is certified in Dog Behaviour & Training from The International Academy of Canine Trainers, is Bravo Dog Knowledge certified, and is trained in Dogsafe Canine First Aid. She continues to expand her knowledge in the industry by attending seminars and learning from other pet professionals.

Shelby is very proud to be a member of the Pet Professional Guild and is committed to results based, science based force-free training and pet care. ​

Shelby lives with her husband, Syd who's ongoing support has been a key element in making this dream possible. Both partners in life and business, they are very excited to see where the future takes them.
