We would like to introduce everyone to the newest member of the Menzies Pet Hospital family, Shia! 🐈 🧡

Long story short, Shia was surrendered to us last Monday. We originally contacted the Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven to ask if they were willing to take her on. Of course they said yes, but due to already being at max capacity, we agreed to let her stay with us in the meantime. After only having her for a few days, all of us at Menzies quickly fell in love, and now we have two clinic cats! 🐈🐈‍⬛

We are so excited for you all to meet her! 🧡

Attention clients!!!
Unfortunately, one of our client's cats bolted when getting out of their vehicle in our parking lot. He bolted towards Cream of the Crop Day Care. Our staff and the owners have been trying to catch/find the poor cat with no luck. The cat is an un-neutered male, grey & white domestic shorthair. Please keep your eyes open!

With our Dental Month quickly approaching in August, Menzies Pet Hospital is hosting a Dental Open House and Q&A on July 11th, 2024 at 7:00pm.

Come and check out what goes on behind the scenes! We want to allow you to see what a dental procedure entails and answer any questions you may have. You’ll get the chance to see how your pet will be monitored and cared for pre- and post-dental, be able to check out our variety of dental care products and learn why we don’t recommend a non-anesthetic dental cleaning.

Paige has been a part of the Menzies Pet Hospital team since 2019, starting when she was only 16 years old. In 2022, she went to Thompson Rivers University and completed her Veterinary Technologist Diploma this year and has rejoined our team as a Veterinary Technologist. Well done Paige! The month of May is dedicated to spreading awareness about canine and feline arthritis.

Did you know that dogs and cats as young as 5 years old can start showing signs of arthritis?
Some symptoms to look out for are:
* Limping or lameness
* Reduced mobility
* Reluctant to jump up
* Irritability
* Weight gain

We offer a variety of treatments to help alleviate your pet's arthritis pain such as:

They’re the two best friends that anyone could have! ♥️

Listen, we know it’s a big ask but we truly think that these two were meant to find each other. Pickles came from a situation where he had never known the comfort of human touch and Boo came into our care with a terrible skin condition that required urgent treatment.

Despite their rough starts in life, these two hit it off after meeting in our care and have been inseparable ever since! Boo has shown Pickles that people are friends and has helped his confidence grow more than we could have ever imagined.

The two of them spend their days playing together and their quirky personalities balance perfectly with one another.
