Hello Everyone!

Mr. Salvador is looking for a forever home!

His current owners hearts are absolutely shattered 💔 The decision was made out of love for him and wanting him to live his best life. He is currently living in Chilliwack.

Here is what they want you to know about Sal.
Salvador is 3 years old, his Birthday is Dec 17, 2020. He is the biggest suck ever. He loves to snuggle. He sleeps in our bed with us. He is highly food driven. He has lots of energy that he needs to get out everyday. We are looking for a home that will provide an active lifestyle. Walks, hiking, playing in the backyard etc. Salvador has separation anxiety so we are hoping his new owners will work on that with him.

We feel he needs to be in a home that does not have any other animals. Our home currently has 3 dogs including Salvador and although they all get along for the most part, Salvador has become reactive towards are other dog Roo. We are unsure why but this is the reason we have made the heartbreaking decision to rehome our baby boy.

We absolutely adore Salvador and we are looking for a forever home who will love him as much as we do!

Happy New Year! I hope 2024 will be a great year for you all!

Exciting news! Next month our family is growing! Welcome Diamond Mobile into the Southpaw family!

I am very honored that Krystal from Diamond Mobile is trusting me with the wonderful business she has spent 7 years growing. I will be spending a lot of time for the next while carefully putting together a great team that will continue to uphold the very high standards she has set for Diamond Mobile.

Krystal has forged strong relationships with both her human and animal clients, I know I have big shoes to fill in her absence. Krystal and I will be working together closely to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible.

Southpaw Dog Training will still be running as usual, so watch for upcoming group classes in the spring!

I hope to continue to add and expand the services we can offer to pets in the Fraser Valley and look forward to meeting and getting feedback from all of you soon!

A little video of Edison and I practicing some Agility in my backyard. Thankful he is feeling better, we haven't been able to do this in a quite a while since he has been sick. He had never been on the teeter before but walked over it like an old pro.

INTRO TO AGILITY CLASS! (2 time options!)
Introduction To Obstacle/Agility Training
Tuesday evenings for 5 weeks starting November 7th 6pm-7pm or 7pm-8pm at the Yarrow Community Centre.
The beginner dog agility class is for those who have never taken a previous agility class before
✓ Learn several agility obstacles in a fun and safe environment!
✓ Improve your dog's focus, obedience and teamwork!
✓ Learn in a controlled indoor environment
Cost $250
Maximum of 6 spots available per class
Prerequisites:
-All dogs must be at least 6 months old
-No aggressive or reactive dogs please:
-No aggression towards other dogs or people
-Must not excessively bark in group setting

Please send healing thoughts to my boy Edison. He was diagnosed with a condition called EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) about 6 weeks ago. EPI causes problems in how you digest food. Your pancreas doesn't make enough of the enzymes that your body needs to break down and absorb nutrients. There is no cure but the good news is if we find the right treatment he can live a relatively normal life. Our first attempt to treat his condition was unsuccessful so we have changed to a new treatment plan and hoping that this will turn things around!
