Alright, you've picked up Sparkes own Triple Sweet Jubilee so how are you cooking it?
Shuck your corn while your water is coming to a boil. Once boiled, put your cobs in for 5 minutes. Remove from water to avoid overcooking. To keep warm, put a lid on your pot until you're ready to enjoy.
Let's hear your corn-eating secrets! Do you eat a few rows at a time until you clear the cob? Do you love the chaos of eating random kernels from various spots on the cob? Do you disregard all judgement and cut it off the cob?

"How long should I boil my corn for?" It's a question we get asked frequently so here's the scoop.
Bring your water to a boil. Put cobs in for ONLY 5-6 minutes. That's all you need. Remove from water and serve. If you're not eating immediately, dump out the water and leave the lid on the pot to keep warm. Do not overcook. Enjoy!

"There's been no rain but my corn is wet - why?" It's a question we get frequently. When we pick, the corn is sorted. Following, it goes through the hydro-cooler which is like a HUGE bathtub. The corn is cooled to refrigeration temperature before being packed for distribution. This extends the life for the corn for the consumer just in case you don't eat it all the day you buy it.

At 16:00 Friday today July 26 , they barged into the corn barn in The Ranchers restaurant parking lot in Bridal falls and robbed the young lady that works for us with a weapon.
Thieves are scum , as low as humans can get. But what's lower is a thief that would scare a lovely young lady , working her first job through the summer , trying to make some money.
She's scared , distraught , it's horrible.

We are picking Our second flush of strawberries and this time they are as as good or better than they were in the beginning of the season. Today there is a sale on both locations on the strawberries.

We just started picking our second flush of our beautiful Albion and Florida beauty Strawberries.
If you thought our berries were sweet a few weeks ago, you should try them now. With all the sunshine we've had the bric level is even higher. Every year people come looking for our Strawberries after we have finished our season.
Don't make that mistake because strawberry season doesn't last that long and it can end suddenly all based on the weather. Today there's plenty of berries available and people aren't aware that the season is still going on so come and grab them while they're there.
