Let's Talk Telemedicine

Why telemedicine?
We don't want to keep patients waiting for appointments, and for uncomplicated or chronic issues we're pleased to be able to offer a lower-cost alternative to conventional exams.

Does it happen in my house?
These appointments take place in the clinic. This hybrid set up gives us the benefits of the hospital environment while remaining efficient and less expensive. If you need diagnostics performed, simple treatments, administration or dispensing of medications - all of this can be done by our skilled technicians under the guidance of a doctor.

How does it work?
You arrive at the clinic and check in with your pet at the front desk like a conventional appointment. A technician goes into the consult room with you and introduces the veterinarian, Dr. Jess Clark, on our telemedicine platform. You can speak directly to her, talk about what's been going on, and the technician will perform the physical examination on your pet under her guidance. Options will be discussed, and medications or treatments will be given as indicated - just like in a standard appointment.

What sort of appointments can be telemedicine?
Dr. Clark is a capable and experienced clinician, but there are limitations to this sort of exam. Telemedicine is ideal for chronic/reoccurring cases like seasonal allergies, for acute but mild issues like vomiting/diarrhea, or for your vaccines and annual health exams. If you are unsure, feel free to contact us to discuss if a telemedicine appointment would be appropriate for your pet.
